Aisling and David McCabe were the principal dancers in Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance for over 15 years. They launched their Academy in September 2013. They aim to teach excellence in traditional and contemporary Irish Dance in a fun and interesting way.

Absolutely brilliant! Michael Flatley is the most amazing Irish dancer, EVER! He started out at 28 taps per second, then broke that to tap 35 taps per second, then beat his time again to dance 41 taps per second. And for those who whinge on and on about Jimmy Devine- sorry, peeps. Michael has the world record for fastest tapper. I doubt anyone will break his record now. Michael is just an absolute genius!
He *had* the world record for fastest taps per second. James Devine is the official record holder, and Michael Donnellan supposedly danced at 40 a second but I don’t know if that’s been verified anywhere. Maybe you’re thinking of him, because there’s never been any word from Team Flatley or the man himself about ever dancing at 41 a second. Where did you hear that?
Just the form of dance! Basically your supposed to keep them straight and balled up like that because we think it's a distraction from the actual dancing.
Great job !!! On the same level as Gillian Norris; the original Morighan the Tempest. Would love to see who took over for Bernadette Flynn in the other lead role.
When I was a young Irish Dancer (57 now) I was absulutely blown away when I realised the older dancers doing this set dance were mimicking horses! Its obvious now, but from that day on I always look to see who 'mimics' a horse more, and this girl is outstanding!
