Adventures from farm life, off-grid living, van life, hiking, and more.
I’m Anna, a digital storyteller and creator of this channel. After a decade of being nomadic, visiting 52 countries, living on 5 continents, and 4 years of traveling across the USA & Canada in a converted camper van, I put down some roots in Colorado w/ my husband Ryan.
Ryan is a graphic designer, web developer, adventure addict, and jack of all trades who was heading west in a self converted camper, when we crossed paths.
Now we are based on 35 acres in Colorado, with our baby boy, rescue dogs, and chickens, and we're slowly transforming our acreage into a sustainable farm.
Off grid? You bought all the commercial chicken start up gear. I started my with 12 chickens and maybe $200 worth of wood, tarp and hardware. Total was less than $300 including purchasing chickens. And just ordered 30 meat chickens yesterday. Off grid living is not buying pre fab equipment, its making it yourself.
Hes so handsome. I had a baby boy one with blue eyes named Bubbers. I miss him 💔 Had to rehome him because he got too sad when i was gone and my kitties were mean to him.😢. He was a sweety
Sure beats the Jackery Explorer 500 I remember you reviewing 4 years ago….The power stations have really come a long way👍 I recently bought 2ea of the Anker Solix C1000 power stations with the expansion battery, they are really nice Light & portable…Good review😉
I have been blessed with several Huskies as rescues and rehomes over the years. They are wonderful dogs and less work than I thought. I always wanted a Husky but didn’t think I could manage one, but I adopted my first one when a rescue begged me to rescue him from animal control. He was such a friend and blessing in my life. In memory of my boy, Hawk. ❤️
