Thank you for the video. I am using Solidworks 2023 and I have a question regarding thickening. I created the gyroid surface from your first video, exactly as you have shown it, and now created the gyroidal lattice as you also have shown. There are no errors in my design but I can't thicken the lattice or the single gyroid from the first video. Do you have an idea what may be causing this?
Please check that there is no gap of overlap between the surfaces before knitting it together. To alter the hole size please vary the size of the cube and keep the proportion between the spline and square as in the video.
You can create a helix with a triangular cross-section using the coil command. Next, make two concentric circles and sweep the required area along one of the edges of the triangular coil. Finally, you can delete the triangular coil using the remove command.
Hi - I am trying to do it in SW 2021 - at 3:11 - I can not choose 3x body = only 1/4 of circle , but min is abt 1/2 so result is not as you have it ! Help please
