Do you have to reflash a used tccm 04 avalanche, Amazon sells Dorman tccm,s says plug and play

I have a Lauch x-431 i was making the TCM program So i put the brand- New TCM module. And tried to do the first step , the ' READ CHARA- TCM replacemet" And the scanner has throw the code " rutine has been failed , imposible to execute this command"

I bought an the same engine full with harness and computer, but I'm afraid I won't be able to use it unless the PATS gets disabled is that something that can be done just with the PCM by it's self?

I'm experiencing this so hard. Replaced a crankshaft sensor, coil packs, spark plugs. Explain it to me like I'm stupid, cuz that happens a lot. Vehicle stutters, loss of acceleration and rpms don't climb with gas, thought it might be fuel related but it starts perfect. Idle is a little wonky but i have air intake issues at the same time... Working on it 😬 but my girl bought this car. She needed it. Not to be too personal but she's had some medical issues and i just wanna fix it for her. She's so scared it's going to leave her on the side of the road and I'm exhausting my finances fixing it. Sorry for saying i wasn't going to get too personal and then proceeding to get personal. Is there a way to change the VIN? I have a 2009 GC that my kids just bought. Everything is good on it but the ESP and TC lights are on. Code for VIN mismatch in the ABS module. I verified the VIN doesn't match. Hoping to get it fixed for them without spending $986 on a new module.

For anyone trying this currently - ACDelco has updated their program to fix the issues that he runs into in the video. ALSO - need to go through an Immobilizer relearn to get the truck to start. There are a few options when selecting the immobilizer relearn within ACDelco TechLine there are a few options depending on if you want to program new keys or not. There is an option for a BCM replacement where it retains the old key setup.

Need some help!! Much appreciated so my car was sitting for about a year no battery engine being built fasforward to now I had pats issues finally figured it out and it started running crank no start issue but my key fab with a new battery inside as well as the car. The remote would not control the locking and unlocking of the car and the horn would beep and basically go into panic mode then timing it correctly by pressing the button it would shut off but had no control of locking/unlocking of doors. So today I brought the tpms scanner home I only have one key and stupid me selected reset parameters and then also had selected I believe clear key code thinking it would rectify my issue I was wrong I'm now having a crank no start . How do I go about recoding my only key I have in my possession again? My car is a 2004 mustang mach1 and the pats control is in the instrument cluster. What would I need besides this Consult 3+ R2R to program new remote fobs for remote start for. 2024 Frontier Pro4X? The factory kit comes with 2 new remote start fobs and a new hood latch. I have a SnapOn Zeus+ with the Nissan upgrade software (added Nissan and Chrysler OEM access but don’t know yet what all the Nissan access can do)

I have an 08 enclave with no crank no start no com amd gas gauge reads E but is full. When key in on position dash lights up perfect then when put to start all dash lights black out headlights go off and nothing until back in on position. Cannot figure it out have replaced starter, alternator, battery, and the engine was jacked up to replace motor mount. Checked all fuse box pins and fuses and relays have been checked and replaced, cleaned up and fixed wires to starter and back grounds.

I have one my mechanic says only the Dealer can fix my car. Its a 2011 mkx i will have to junk it now.

I find it interesting how so many folks see this as a good thing. "Anything they deem" is a very dangerous statement which opens he door to say "EVERYTHING is security related"! Then you are forced to get a VSP, and NASTF can write their own check. It is absolutely a lot of smoke and mirrors. I will say it. This is going to stop ZERO car thefts. All it will do is force criminals to steal cars in a different way. They will increase violent crimes, for sure. Instead of the criminal making a key and driving off, they will now carjack you. Make no mistake, the ones stealing these vehicles are making a lot of money overseas. NASTF is not going to stop them, any more than gun laws stop criminals. So, good job to the folks thinking that the lives of a family are worth less than a POS car. I can't say what I really want to say here, so I will leave it at that. PS I have also realized that my initial thoughts were correct about people who do not work in our industry. The folks I speak to had no idea of any of this happening. A lot of them also said they would like to know how to OPT out of this with their new cars. Another funny thing was that the very fist thing said by most folks was the same. If a thief can't take the car from my driveway, what is stopping him from following me or my wife and taking it by force? Of course we all know that car jacking is not a new sport. However, when you force a criminal into having no other way to get what they want, well...you are now directly contributing to the crime. It really comes down to common sense and reading between the lines. I would not be listening much to those who have the most to gain but, instead to common sense. Thanks...please would explain the procedure steps as i understand ... when replacing used cvt you have to write ip chara which labled on transmission ....when replacing used tcm you have to read ip chara from old tcm befor replacement and write it on new used tcm ...if replace blank tcm you have to program tcm online ...is that wright ? what if lable on tansmission is lost ?
