Tretinoin is also my savior! I’m almost reaching 30 and I feel exactly the same as you. I support it with Sunscreen, Vitamin C, Azelaic Acid, Niacinamide and Glycolic Acid. These 6 are literally the kings of skin care! (Outside of hydrators that also help on a daily basis). I use 0,05% every night.
I use tretoinoin, and even though once I stopped for almost 2 months, when I restarted my journey with it after that period, It was really hard to get myself to use with the same concentration. I used to use 0,05 but after that I had to start by retinol and now I finally got to use 0,025. Honestly I think it’s good enough to change it for 0,05%, so I keep my journey with this and I feel comfortable enough to maintain it even when I’ve been offered to increase the dose. I forgot to mention nowadays I use it almost everyday, except when I exfoliate with glycolic acid. Good to know you feel good with your journey and having kind of the same experience
The one in the tube, the fluid is different, it doesn't have mexoryl 400. But it's still pretty alright for the price, the revitalift clinical version in the same kind if tube is water resistant as well and they have a very similar finish. (The cream with mexoryl 400 I haven't tried)
You definitely need to try the SVR Blur if you really want a mat finish. If you find the extreme mat, you will love that one. And good news ... there is a fragrance free version!😊 Please, try it.
You should show your hand and how the product looks after it dries on your hand. We can’t see what the skin will look like to see if how mattifying or glossy it looks.
Love your video and product recommendations. 😊 A minor suggestion though is listing out the UV filters when you review sunscreens - even just as texts on the side. 😅 I find that I always have to look the ingredient list up to decide how the protection of a sunscreen you're reviewing compares to my current one. They go through more rigorous testing than a regular cosmetic sunscreen in Europe. They can be tested for up to a year or more on people before they are released on the market and are retested several times throughout that period, these medical device sunscreens are targeted towards people who have had skin cancer. Try the new BOJ - relief Sun Aqua Numbuzin - 1 Clear Filter Sun essence or Dr. Ceuracle - hyal reyouth moist Sun….. they are the most light weight sunscreens out there 😊
Thank you! I’ve heard good things about those sunscreens, but they have an SPF booster (butylocil salicylate) which is similar to Octisalate and it irritates my skin. I might still consider giving them a try though.

You should try the new Beauty of Joseon Aqua Fresh SPF! I’ve heard it’s very lightweight, normal finish. - no niacinamide - no white cast (no Tinosorb M) - only new gen filters
Japanese sunscreens are actually better. They have been around way longer than korean sunscreens. They just dont market themselves outside of japan all that much to the global market. Just keeping it all the way 100.
They’re better in some ways and not in others. I like that they’re lightweight while being water resistant. But most of them still use old gen UV filters and don’t have the skincare beneficial ingredients that Korean sunscreens have. Also, fragrance and alcohol which some people are trying to stay away from.
I have sun allergy, Japanese sunscreen protection is either too weak or too much of irritants. I've tried so many but never worked. European sunscreens offer the best protection, but the Korean one is enough for less sun exposure with better texture.
Thank you for the great videos. i have a light olive skin tone and tinosorb m gives me a white sheen not in a nice way unfortunately. i have this problem that some Korean sunscreens make me nauseous, dizzy. Do you have that too? That purito and roundlab for example i felt like i was going to puke. beauty of joseon doesn’t do that but it gives me that whote sheen. i might try the cosrx because it has so few ingredients.
I tried Abib and Skin1004. Even though they're lightweight, they're still too shiny for me. The only one I can stand is Haruharu :) It's so so nourishing, calming and nice on my skin. It's still too shiny, but less than any other K sunscreen I tried.
