if you remove the regulator from the bbq you can just use the low pressure that supplied the water heater. They do not use high pressure that is why there is a regulator.
lol, I got a kick out of the spoiler alerts on the epoxy 'filler' on the door panel. Laughing WITH not AT 🤣. Glad I watched to the end, I always had this 'brilliant' idea that I would someday get an adapter for my on-board propane tank to use for outdoor cooking. Yeah ... maybe not! I'm sure if there was a pressure regulator-hose-adapter-thingy that would work, you would (now) know about it.
I did the same thing on my C97V200, when I removed the 3 way fridge. I used another 2 burner stove from another trailer with a 12 foot quick release hose. Also installed a cooler/freezer, 3000w inverter, 640ah lithium batteries, and extra drawer in the fridges compartment.
"You're not the boss of me!" 😂 I had my water heater removed when I first got my '92 RT. They riveted a metal panel over the opening -- I wish I would have kept the door.
While I like your humor and watch your videos mostly just for the entertainment value, I kinda disagree with making so many alterations to your RV. Personally I like mine the way it was manufactured, have done some changes and upgrades but nothing to change the original design or alter how it functions. Personally I chucked my original useless water heater which had leaked out and rotted my floor under the seat and swapped it for a new on demand water heater so I have as much hot water as I want as long as I have full hookups.
I have issue with side panel on side door coming loose on Chevy Roadtrek 2006 190 Popular Looks like some kind of silicone goop was used on topside of panel to attach it to body which has failed. Any ideas would be helpful. Can send pictures.
@@jerrygrappi4676 I’ve seen people repair this with heavy duty duct tape, seems to last a long time. That’s only if the rubber hinge is still semi intact though. Good luck.
Great idea. I need to do this - I currently have duct tape over my light. It occurred to me that you could also use a gallon water jug and you wouldn't have to sand it.
Thank you for this video. I have used this method and am quite happy with the results. I am doing a makeover on my 2000 Chevy 200 versatile. I just made a video and will be tagging this video in the description so that you get credit!
@@diggy4963 here’s a video I made on changing my awning end caps. Hope this helps. Thanks for your comment.👍 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-j-v4hFM4Tis.htmlsi=NrCZPMrl7QKSi4Mw
You are now one of my favorite DIY'ers! Great explanations, video and humor!🤣🧰🔨 Great swap out for carpet. I'd like to remove all of the inside carpet (minus the shower area) as well but do you think using an indoor/outdoor carpet might be better to help with noise and heat than a hard floor? Would the flooring be difficult to replace in the cab area with the seats? Thanks for your input!
@@pattya1679 here’s a video I made on how to put LED porch lights on the bottom of your awning. Hope it helps. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lcLmBK9zeuU.htmlsi=-fI5zCJdqHShadQR
I love your video's! You are so helpful and funny! I love that you show when you mess things up. It seems to always happen to me, making me want to quit. You persevere. I appreciate that you show it all!
Very nice video! This is exactly how you do this repair. I had to replace the hose on my Roadtrek when I got it and it was a pain and I didn’t have an instructional video to go by. Nice job!
I saved this to my 'Roadtrek' playlist before I even clicked play. Hope I didn't jinx myself, Great video! Ugh, I hate working underneath these things, no ground clearance!
I own a 2003 Popular 190 and have a bit of experience with solar and would like to address one item. A risk in any installation is the positive + red wire running from the battery to some device becoming dead shorted to chassis, this could result in a fire and/or system damage. I advise all attachments directly to house battery bus, be fused. You can calculate your fuse size using Ohms law or just size it based on the max current recorded on the controller. An ideal instalation would have separate positive and negative bus bars in/near the battery compartment. This will allow for only one conductor attached directly to each battery terminal from the termination bus (for ease of disconnect) and a place to fuse branch circuits for the other devices.
