Please email amywang41@gmail.com, I need you to look at this merry go round before i spend a bunch of money in china. And, this may be something you may want to build for yourself, it is just toooo much fun.
Hi buddy, thanks for the video updates and look forward to seeing another creation. I was wondering what do you use to transfer electricity from the stationary part to the moving gondola? Thanks a lot 😀
I just noticed your comment ,I apologize for that, that was the trickiest thing to figure out until I came across a gizmo called a "Slip Ring" it`s used for windmills, can be purchased on good old Ebay cheap.
Can you please do another video on just the electrical lighting how does that function how do you get the wiring to turn and function when it's rotating is it a special electrical set up on the bottom I would like to know because I'm trying to make one myself if you could just do a video on electrical how to wire it for the lighting
It would be very labor intense to show step by step on how to construct one , I used mostly material I had access to around the farm, and you also have the liability factor if you don`t build it right if someone would get hurt
Hi Diane, this was built for my grandkids also, I have so much labor involved and I used alot of the materials I had around the farm, a person would probably be better off buying one that`s professionally manufactured.
Hey there Pat,your doing great work there. I am in the planning stage of building a higher speed "carousel" or a platform would be a more accurate description to use as an attraction at theme parks. It will be 60 RPM and produce close on 4.5 G! It will be 2 meter wide and driven by a single phase generator and 3 HP motor. Are there any tips or advice you could offer about the build? Regards Chris - Ps Do you have an email address or facebook page I could message you on?
