Thank you for writing this book. I read it several years ago when I was breaking away from religion. It really inspired me and took a lot of anxiety away to not always worry about a god judging my actions that I could never live up to. I went from Islam back to Christianity then doubting Christianity again. Eventually I felt lonely without a god and went back to vacillating between religions again. The confusion has been overwhelming to where I don’t really live my life to the fullest but am always chasing god, trying to do it right. When I read your book I told myself to save it in case I go back to religion one day and need another wake up call. Well I’m back to that point again and am starting your book again. Thanks for your thoughtful writings.
British always have the most precise and technical videos. I was confused about if I need to convert the reading to V if using 2000mV scale by using the number 2000. Now I understand the reading is simply in mV for both 2000m and 200m scales. We can then simply convert it to V.
another contrivance of science to convince people science reflects the real world! Alas, no! The spectrum could well be a result of the interaction between the light and the prism and the ir effect could be the result of heat being refracted at a different angle than the spectrum! The em specrtum is a great idea but there's no proof light is electromagnetic in the first place!
I think, essentially her views have either shifted in 14 years or... Anna Smajdor is just publishing extremist Science to shock people into her 14 year ago concept. My suspicion is the former, that she's hit menopause and is now regretting not having children earlier. It just seems strange to have a good strong ethical stance that not all of our problems can be fixed with science but then willingly using other women as incubators after they already suffered brain death.... as if the human body is just a tool others can use for their pleasure once she's not able to have a say anymore...
$cience is ugly. And there is no globe earth. “science” stands for a freedom of the mind that is inherently at odds with the idea of authority. You follow the political views of $cience not real science. And if you think the earth was made by natural laws then your mistaken because miracles are extraordinary and cannot be explained in ordinary details.
