No disrespect or anything but this band has the stupidest name for a band that I have ever heard. Like, I wish you all the best and everything but the bands name is really stupid. I even read up on how they came up with their name and I don't think it's that funny. Obviously you guys were high when you came up with it so I get it, it seemed funny at the time, but at some point you probably should have looked at it and came up with something better. All love, no hate I've made a lot of mistake too, we all do.
Haircut 100 was the first proper gig I ever went to - took my girlfriend! Two weeks later I was watching the Jam with my mates. Both great early eighties music that has endured. You're all looking good, gentlemen!
40 years ago already! When favourite shirts was released and I bought that single, I was 18..now just a few months away from 60! Happy memories and also, the the flip side of that single was Ski Club..the dj would play that in the club we used to go to..and the album was superb..and I've still got it, plus the singles. Fabulous music!
Buying this album in the early 1980`s factory sealed i remember a free Bubble Gum wrapper or something similar enclosed in the package .Is this novelty still offered?....
The Pet Sounds of ‘82. Every track is a gem and if Nick has stuck around the second album, some tracks included on this 40th, with what was on his debut solo would have made a superb follow up.
Absolutely my favorite album from the 80s, and is truly the ultimate feel good album. Thank you for your recent uploads @haircut100 because now I know a lot more of your music.
An all-time favourite album. I still play it regularly here in Tokyo to my customers. Maybe I should get a wedge again, stuff my chunky-knit sweater in my pegs and put some leg-warmers on.
How fabulous! This brings back a lot of fun memories. I bought this album on a miserable rainy day. Took it home, put it on the record player and it was like the sun coming out. Thank you ❤️
