The 9fs are new tools and not re tooled, a completely different model to the original 9f. The battle of Britain tooling Go's back to 2015 and is also not re tooled. For a model shop who deals in models railway locomotives should know these basics.

Great to see your videos and products. There are no proper model Railway-stores near where I live in South Africa. Nice to see what your doing, I am a fan of British railway as well. One day I will be able to visit you galz. Keep up the great work.
Worth mentioning that the Class 89 proved a useful testbed for the Class 9 'Le Shuttle' Eurostar locomotives for Channel Tunnel shuttle services and for Class 92 locomotives. The Class 90 locomotive was an upgraded version of the WCML Class 87 The Ruston 88DS shunter looks particularly useful, and will be a great partner for Heljan's forthcoming Class 02.
Class 73, lovely, but I'll need some time to save up first - I plan to visit the Guildford Group trade show this weekend and hope to see one in the flesh. A Class 73 purchase may have to wait until 2024, as I expect to find some prospective steam locomotives first.

Have to add here - i have a class 47 railroad. It looks ok and runs smoothly......as long as you don't put more than 4 coaches behind it. It is horrendously lightweight and it has truly awful pulling power. Bought it about a year ago.....never again. Hornby - what are you doing?

Absolute gold, this - a decent length video really looking into what Accurascale are working on, some info I haven't heard elsewhere. I noticed a couple of complaints about the sound and yeah probably would've helped to have a couple of lavalier mics, but I could hear everything being said and the background sound made me feel like I was in the shop too - that was quite nice 😊 nice to meet Trevor as well 😅 We're about to move to within an hour of the shop, so I'll be calling in later this year.
Most of these models are Lima toolings might has well put Lima on the box. I doubt many children or young adults will be able to afford £90 - £120 a model the right idea Hornby but the price is wrong.
I was looking forward to watching this, but with the sound loco running in the background and the lack of microphones being worn, it became difficult to listen to.
Thank you for your comment. Our shop is amazing but we deliberately don't have a selling website so we can concentrate on keeping our fantastic shop amazing and focusing on our shop visitors. We are all about old fashioned customer service not high volume mail order sales. We do offer a mail order service and can post out anything you see or want...we stock it all however if we were to solely concentrate on Web sales we would no longer need a brick and mortar shop and Norwich and the model railway world would lose out. There are lots of model railway websites but there is only 1 Great Eastern Models ❤
@@GE_Models That’s great but how do potential customers who live hundreds of miles away know what you have in stock? Are you competitive price wise or are you full retail with no discounting, do you have a price list I can obtain?
