What's crazy is, and I wish I could attach some pictures to this comment, is that just did a search because, I have a huge box of these Stomper 4x4s. I had no clue there were 55 of 'em. I had a few as a kid around maybe 79 or 1980 when I was 11 or 12 years old. They were a lot of fun to play around with. In the late 90s, I was at a garage sale and a guy had a huge collection of cars, RC cars, matchbox and hot wheels, and he had around 20 of these Stomper 4x4s, brand new, so, I bought 'em remembering them as a kid. I wonder what they are worth? They are all in great condition.
Such a great commercial. Love the miniature environment. It does remind me of the DQ commercial with chocolate cliffs andariver of hot fudge. Loved that commercial, too. Why couldnt stompers drive around in Carmel?
Do all the stompers drive? Bought my husband one as a gift and dont see anyway for it to drive. Its the wild bill stomper bully. How do you change the battery? Would like to figure it out before I give it to him. Thanks!
I had one of those when I was little, I just found one on mercari new in the box. I bought it, talk about nostalgia. Hopefully the smoke feature works, I want to share with my 3 kids.

I bought one of those in 87 but it got stolen about a month later. Got another 8 or 10 years ago for damn near nothing, maybe $20. Silver, not the gunmetal grey you have there. Nice radio, I listened to it a lot for background music while doing other stuff until the amplifier went. Radio works, tape was OK, but something lat ein the signal path is out. So now I'm trying to decide whether to splice a new amplifier board in there or try to repair whatever component burned up. I've made bluetooth boomboxes out of the little chinese amplifier boards and they sound GREAT, way better than the 8443 ever did, but I'm afraid I'd feel stupid afterwards for making it no longer stock. And if I did change the amplifier... I'd probably want to replace the speakers and on and on...
I think I had this commercial on an old tape that has long since been gone. I don't remember too much, but it does look a little familiar, especially the end. If so, thanks for uploading, I've been trying to recreate that tape.
It sucks i became a fan of iron maiden pretty late. I'm 18 and i got interested with them when i was 15. But they are my #1 favorite band. Hallowed Be Thy Name is my all time favorite song.
