Gordon returned fire only after his Son Yorie was Damn near shot to death. He realized that after they shot Yorie mistakingly thinking that Yorie was he, Gordon. He fired back defending his family. As far as the Tax issue goes, there's two different types of people that can legally earn a living within these borders that we all share. One is called a Taxpayer that is required to pay the Federal Income Tax, and the other is called a Non-Taxpayer that is not required to pay the Federal Income Tax and does not come under the jurisdiction of the Income Tax Revenue Laws nor the IRS. The problem is that the IRS has been lying to the American people and to the American Private Sector in perticular since the repeal of the Victory Tax on May 29th 1944 by Congress. The IRS Commissioner of the day had a legal as well as moral obligation to the American Private Sector, (The Non-Taxpayers) that they were no longer required to fill out Government Tax Forms. The IRS Commissioner of 1944 deliberately did not do that and the American Private Sector (The Non-Taxpayers) have been paying a Tax that they are not required to pay because of the deliberate deception by the criminal agency called the IRS for the last 71 years. The Government Sector are the Taxpayers and are legally required to pay the Federal Income Tax, also called an excise tax or Privilege Tax. That's what Federal Income Tax actually is. Working for the Federal Government is not a right, it is a Privilege. Therefore, there is a catch. If you are allowed to be employed by the Federal Government and your paycheck comes from the department of U.S. Treasury, that is legally considered Taxable under the Internal Revenue Code. If you work in the Private Sector and do not engage in any business with the Federal Government and do just regular every day Private Sector business or you work for a Private Sector company, you are not required to have your Private Sector workforce fill out any Government Tax Forms because they were never meant for the American Private Sector, they were only meant for the Government Sector and those that engage in Federal Privilege. The IRS has been lying, scamming and using criminal strong-arm tactics against the American Private Sector since the repeal of the temporary (Victory Tax) that was implemented by Congress in 1942 because they were running out of money to fund the War effort. So if you wanted to (Volunteer) to help pay for the War, you could fill out those Tax papers that we all still fill out today as a condition for employment. But, it was only Volunterily and was not mandatory. After Congress repealed the Victory Tax on May 29th 1944, The IRS was supposed to inform all of the Private Sector employers that the Victory Tax had been repealed and that those that were volunteering to pay for the War no longer had to send a portion of their Private Sector earnings to the Department of Revenue. The Private Sector Employers could just shred those Tax forms of those that volunteered to help with the War effort and go back to paying them their entire paycheck with the exception of any union dues, court ordered child support or ex spousal support or something like that. Other than that, they could go back to paying their Private Sector work force every dime they earned and weren't required to sent the Department of Revenue any more money. The IRS Commissioner of 1944 and every IRS Commissioner since has deliberately kept quite about it and the American Private Sector has been deliberately lied to by the IRS for the last 71 years now. Google Economy Plumbing and Heating vs U.S. 1972 and see where the U.S. Supreme Court mentioned the Non-Taxpayers. The IRS will have you believing their own made up definition, but many of us know better. How's about it America, ya infuriated yet? 71 years of being lied to and swindled. Time to break out the Tar and Feathers again!
All of you folks you say he was a great man are completely wrong. He executed 2 of his fellow North Dakotans in cold blood. I grew up in North Dakota, and remember well the events of 1983. Gordon Kahl is a stain on our great state. I despise big government, personal intrusion, and confiscatory income tax as much as anyone. But what Gordon Kahl did was murder, plain and simple, and it didn't help ANYONE.

I say fine them $100 if they are not going to obey the the law. I'm going to be extremely angry if the quiet zone doesn't go into effect, I live less than a block away from the train tracks, and well I'm rather sick of having to listen to them blow there horns all night.

Lol Csi has another video of Werkhoven from last year in which he claimed he was going to make these city public meetings more "user friendly" . I really dont see how he can claim to make the meeting more "transparent" more "user friendly" when he won't even let citizens ask questions about the actions the city commission is taking.
So a non profit group that is funded by oil companies want to lower tax rates for oil companies, that doesn’t sound like non profit to me it sounds like the oil companies are trying to make more profit.

The 1% extra sales taxes was voted (and then later extended) by the voters of Jamestown, for the purposes of economic development. What right does the council have to re-allocate these funds to infrastructure improvements?
