I suffer from O.C.D. Hoarding, disposaphobia, I have a fear and dread that I am going to throw something important away. I know it is not rational. It is a mental illness that I have been in therapy, and on medication for years. Sometimes I make progress other times I get sicker. I had a long time when I hadn't posted any videos. I have other health problems. I intend to start making videos soon. I look forward to comments, encouragement, and advice. If you have this same problem let me know what you have done to get better. I hope many are enlightened by the videos. Thanks for watching.

I'm blown away by your courage to share what you're going through. I know it's an incredibly frustrating and difficult condition. So sorry for the losses you've experienced 😥 Hope that you've been able to make progress and am rooting for you ✨

A good book to read is "FEEL THE FEAR AND DO IT ANYWAY" by Susan Jeffers. "The Slob Sisters" Pam Young and Peggy Jones helped me a lot as they first got organized in 1977. Pam still has a channel here on RU-vid - MakeItFunAndItWillGetDone

I loved that part where you said "I'm going to take a risk, I'm going to throw that bear away" I think I used that a lot to help getting rid of stuff, you should give yourself big compliments for what you're accomplishing! :)

After getting rid of all that stuff, I am now more excited about getting rid of stuff than keeping it because I kind of got addicted to making space and get that sense of relief, even though it was small. It helped a lot to have a separate room just for stuff that was going out, to trash, donation or sell. I actually, to get free from my stuff, decided to not even think about selling because it made me keep stuff and not sell even. And I was still captive of that stuff, so that was also donation

Thank you so much for sharing, I think you're very brave and it's admirable that you have acknowledged the problem and are getting help for it. I noticed your latest video was made a year ago but I still hope you see this and I would love to hear, either way, how its going today.

Please if someone could comment on how do I match my voice with my video, it would be a huge help. This looks crazy. This is my first video. I used my computer webcam. Sorry this video is so out of sync.
