I've been exploring Tolkien beyond LOTR & The Hobbit a lot more lately (currently attempting the Silmarillion...) so this was lovely to watch and very relaxing 🙂 Loving the channel!🌳

Thanks for the kind words - glad it struck a chord! My go-to comfort read has always been Farmer Giles of Ham - my first Tolkien!

Marvellous, great video. What day are you doing this trail? When are most of these churches open?

@@will3258Thanks, much appreciated. I filmed it earlier this week while the sun was out between showers! Ripon Cathedral & Crypt is open daily for free, St. Mary Magdalen's seemed to be opened daily also by a local key holder. Final video will be up tomorrow hopefully

@@will3258ah cool, well let me know if you find any gooduns - I'll concentrating on the north to start with including Cumbria and Northumberland, but keen to venture South soon - Lincolnshire, Derbyshire, Norfolk are all on my hit-list!
