I have sam problem.. I go to Boss shop in corbin KY .. after replaced injector cups still fuel in coolant although I replaced coolant tank and some-hoses .. mechanic said that .. leaking stopped and sealed good .. the reason why still fuel in coolant because the old fuel before fixed injector cups still in the system that is why .. so I have to drive 500 miles and flush the coolant then will be ok .. is that is right ? I am worry about what he said ?
No, i am more capable of doing the job than most people. I was just messing around with my gopro and youtube. A few people have asked me to do a video like this.
I know you are capable. I can see you doing it. But with no explanation. No feeler gauge sizes told. No 240 degree pump/ injector adjustment explanation. The video ends up to be useless. I am not trying to bother you about it. I was just hoping to see a nice tutorial of some sort but it was just it getting done with no shared knowledge.
I dont give out info like that becuse some one could come back on me if they watchtower it and something gose wrong. Even skilled techs can do overheads wrong on volvos.
i also do it for each bolt hole Becuse i had a truck that had been to 3 different dealers and they installed an oil cooler each time. i get it for the 4th time and found out 3 days before the first oil cooler the customer had cups done. the bolts that hold the rocker shaft had hydro locked and cracked the head.
@@nickpurcella6590 so did the tap method. Put a bolt in the thread and yanked them out. Now would I have to do an overhead adjust even though I didn’t completely remove the rocker control arm
@@rodolfosanchez1661 volvo air in fuel kit. but if you buy the return line or get one off a used junk engine you can just block off the filter base side and then run a10-15 clear hose and make the tool your self
two ways. one is with the turning tool. or use an Allen on the alternator and spin the engine backwards. not sure how your thinking the fan or radiator has to be touched
Very useless video no explanation what are you doing. You should explain what marks on camshaft means and step by step what doing. Sorry for such as comment
Buenas noches felicitaciones por el vídeo mui técnico por favor teneme en cuenta en sus próximos vídeos de reparación y calibración de sus motores más actuales muchas gracias hasta pronto Guillermo León Mejía Tapias colonbia
You are best mechanic not all dealerships have mechanics like you very educational and helpful video now I can adjust the valves myself thanks for posting
Did you leave the "orange or red" sealer on the base of the injector when you installed them? What was the purpose of putting it on the injector, placing the injector in the cup [i assume no orings] letting it set and them removing the injector? Haven't seen that done before.......
There's not an adjustment for 3.2mm. Its a 1mm on the rocker to valve bridge then leave it there and put a 2.5mm between the roller to Exhaust brake rocker.
