My name is Yemisi, a Nigerian currently residing in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. I create immigration videos ranging from how-to videos to lifestyle vlogs as it relates to migrating and living in Canada. I also share my plethora of experiences as an ex-International student.
Honestlyyyy. I was watching the vlog she posted when she came here and I just realized you all may have never seen that side of me. Hahhaha Thanks for the compliment sis.🥰
Hi Yemisi. How can I connect with you? I’d love to join my partner in Canada through the SOWP, but I don't have all these evil fees being asked by agents and consultants. 😅
Hello, I understand your frustration about these fees. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Q_6XMvwdQvc.htmlsi=0xJNNCEjY1ScLJ8T I’d advise you check out this link to know your eligibility. If you’re not eligible, go through the PR pathway or student route if you may. There are a lot of resources online especially on cic.ca (official IRCC portal) if you can’t afford agency fees.
GC just needs to liberate healthcare and introduce private hospitals - although that has disadvantages such as doctors just recommending surgery and procedures just to make money.
You should be. The most thing to show in your visa application is a very concrete bank statement/proof of finances. Watch this video to see ten ways you can show POF. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-X9L2rFgKScI.htmlsi=Gn2LCAbwS_AGbKS2
I am applying for a diploma in healthcare course at a college in canada next year 2025 that will last up to 2years, 5 semesters to be precised, so my question is can my husband apply alongside with me for open spousal work permit or diploma programs are not eligible to apply for spousal open work permit? NB: He's into tech and he has been working as a customer support agent for more than 2years now.
Thank you for your videos, they are always insigthful ❤. Please can you talk more on the bus drivers job, how to apply, how to move, requiremrnts and all it entails, do one need to get the job before applying for visa or just need to find the job when one gets to canada. Thank you 😊
HR is quite lucrative too. You may want to explore learning soft tech skills like data analytics, information management etc so that your qualifications can stand a better chance
What is crazy with these new policies is that they are making it seem as though the uni programs are taught in a different language other than English. Honestly, the situation here in Canada and AB is bad, and I don't think this is the best time to come to Canada as some RU-vidrs have been talking about lately just doing it for clicks. Everything is stretched out, housing, employment, health, etc its crazier than what people that are not living here think.
Sometimes I wonder if all these countries did some kind of meeting to discuss international students 🥹😩 because there are similar changes in Australia 🇦🇺 too 😌😌 Looking lovely as always Yemisi 😍🥰
Today the news is very bad for people who want to immigrate to Canada, all the prime ministers of the provinces have confirmed that they no longer want temporary immigrants. The opposition parties to the liberal government want to bring down the government (this will be done before Christmas) because the system can no longer support the massive arrival of these people. (housing shortage, lack of teachers and lack of nurses) It would be wise to consider another destination because politicians are even talking about sending all new arrivals back to their countries because the system is cracking under the pressure.
I think it’s absolutely crazy for people who are a native English speaker, born, breed and schooled in English, to write a test to prove English proficiency. I mean how more proficient can I get? I’ll definitely like to know the demand for HR professionals. I’ve started thinking about changing my career as well but I love HR lol
Yemisi please what about this program culinary program , hostel management and restaurant … please is it good to do this course can you give more information about this please
Hello Yemisi 👋🏼 Thank you for all you do. I have been following you for a very long time now and would really LOVEEEE you to talk about Social Service Worker, Child And Youth Care and Addictions and Mental Health programs in your next video...being that you mentioned you'll be talking about some other in-demand jobs in Canada. Also I'v been trying to crack this; I learnt the 3 programs I mentioned above, when Categorizing would fall under the broader Categorization of Healthcare as they all deal with supporting the well-being of individuals and communities. What do you think please
So, we just shot a video on how she got her first nursing job and also how she became a registered nurse in Canada so we touched on your question. Stay tuned! Quick answer - they are very much in demand considering the priority on mental health and addictions in Canada.
Thanks very much, my dear, for this nice video. My question is: if graduates from programs at public colleges will remain eligible for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) if they graduate from a field of study linked to occupations in long-term shortage, will the graduate from university (especially master holders) also remain eligible for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) if they graduate from a field of study linked to occupations in long-term shortage?
My 2nd question is, what would be the fate of people doing a program outside the labour shortages? Do they get pgwp at all? Or even if they do, how many years? 1 year ? or 2? They didnt even specify on the Ircc website which is so confusing.
Please Yemisi, do you know how I can find the long term shortages in Canada my program must be linked with? Atp these people want to frustrate Int'l students😂😂
Hi ma’am Good day Pls I have already gotten my study permit But I deferred my admission to January And I want to go and study bachelor in business administration Pls do I still need to change my course of study Please hope u understand where am coming from 😢
@@MsYemisi ma I applied for visa this year And the course I picked was bachelor in business administration and my visa has been approved already. But I deferred my admission to January because I wasn’t prepared to leave yet. But due to all this immigration changes, do u advice me to change my course when I get to Canada by January to a in demand course or should I study the course like that. Because am so confused ma’am
@@ibidokuntunmise5694 I think you should get in touch with your school and be sure about the process of switching your program. Just so you don't be on your own when you resume. Also, with all these going on. It'd be a better idea to switch programs oo. How are you even still sure the school is still offering the course. With all this business courses cancellation they're doing. Well, I think yours is undegrad. So, the situation might be a little bit different. But IMO, get in touch with your school.
