Please reply, I'm gng to bali from india and have layover of 9 hours - same airlines and same pnr, do I need to apply for e visa? Do i need to fill mdac form? If yes where can we find this mdac form? N what about sim internet connection?
@@mdyusuf411 hi, no you won't need any evisa or MDAC, if you don't cross immigration. Your connecting flight will be in the international terminal, so you won't need to cross immigration. There is wifi in the airport for the internet access.
Hi After submitting the mdac form i received auto reply email ..said check pass with this pin (password) Now do i need to wait for any confirmation or any documents or pass? Please reply next procedure. Also in this form i gave just random hotel address not booked yet.. Any problem with this hotel address? Also last port embarkation? My connecting flight is from Srilanka so india or srilanka? I submitted as India.. Ok?
Hi, No confirmation was received in our case. We just printed the MDAC form from the "check registration" tab. Random hotel booking is not ok, as immigration officers might check the hotel voucher. So book a hotel for atleast a day. The last port of embarkation will be Srilanka. Hope this helps!
@@mouneydonuru2769 if you don't cross immigration , then no need to get MDAC form. In case you need to get your boarding pass from KL counter, then you will be required to go through immigration and MDAC will be required. If the connecting flight has the same Pnr as the previous, then no need to cross immigration.
MDAC is required, in case you need to collect your boarding pass from KL counter. E-boarding pass also works at KL, but still it is better to carry your MDAC form

Hi ma'am, we are going to Vietnam in the coming month. We got a 19 hour layover at Malaysia. Can I confirm that only the MDAC is enough or any other VISA need to be taken? Most importantly, should we show a hotel booking in the immigration? One last doubt, is it necessary to submit the form exactly 3 days before the arrival or minimum three days before the arrival?
@@ranjithkuruppmusicals9062Hello, For KL MDAC is sufficient. Hotel booking, I am not sure... We didn't require it as our transit time was only 8hrs. MDAC needs to be submitted within 3 days before arrival.
@@itialab5250 hi, please carry e-boarding pass (web check-in). You can use the e-boarding pass at KL. In India u will be required to get the boarding pass from the counter. Otherwise, you will have to fill up the MDAC, cross immigration and get your boarding pass to bali from KL.
@@itialab5250 yes after doing web check-in you will get your e-boarding passes. MDAC is optional. You can apply 3 days before arrival in KL. how to fill up the MDAC form: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UhcIT8TET_M.htmlsi=lW1qLOyE0ckhKAQt

I have booked two separate flights: one from Delhi to Kuala Lumpur and another from Kuala Lumpur to Tokyo(2 separate PNR). I have an 8-hour layover in Kuala Lumpur. What is the process for obtaining my boarding pass for the second flight? Also, my return journey is similar with a 4-hour layover in Kuala Lumpur. Will I encounter any issues during my return journey? Please Reply.
@@kasturikashyap1972 hi, we also had similar situation while coming back to India. In our case, we showed our e-boarding pass in KL. So you can also get your e-boarding pass by web check-in. I am Having overlay of 8 hrs 50 minutes, what all documents needed to come out of airport to explore Batu Caves and Petronas and KL Tower..Only MDAC is sufficient?? Or any other proofs needed

We are travelling with batik air, we have 15 hour layover. Do airline restrict us from going out or we can roam around and come back in time. Wr have same pnr for both flight from Mumbai to KL and from KL to Bali
Hi I’m travelling to Bali from India thru Malaysia. We have two different flights landing in T1 at Malaysia and the next flight to Bali is from T2. Do we need transit visa or just the MDAC is enough? And one of my friend is joining us on this trip from a different city in India. She has different PNR’s from Air Asia but same terminals. She needs to collect her luggage and change planes. What does she need to do ? Kindly advise. Kind regards.
@@Sneha-qx2es hi, MDAC is sufficient. Your friend can also fill up the MDAC, even though I believe she won't need to cross immigration, as the baggage belts are located before immigration.
Hello, how much funds will be enough to show at immigration for 4 days in Kualalumpur? I'm carrying 20k INR and i have already paid for my hotel and activities, is it enough?
Hi, 20K INR is sufficient but it is always better to carry emergency funds in the form of an international credit card or some other form. Please carry MYR cash as during immigration they might ask how much Malaysian ringitt/dollar you are carrying.
if a connecting flight i travel india to kuala lampur (delhi to srilanka to kuala lampur ) & stay in diffrent diffrent hotel so how can fill a form? pls reply me & help me
MDAC form is valid once per entry. I am guessing you are not staying in Sri Lanka. You just have to give the name of the first hotel you are staying in Kuala Lumpur. The last port of embarkation will be the airport in India where you boarded the flight.

@@AmritSingh-zl4bi You can mention the flight number from SL to KL. And the last port of embarkation Srilanka. If there is some problem in MDAC form, there is an MDAC office in KL airport before immigration, where you can refill the form with the airport staff's help.
@@travelingcouple2023 ty dear One question Hotel transit kuala lampur 42, Jln Pudu, Bukit Bintang, 55100 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia this is my hotel address so what is state & city name?
It's 50km away, and when there is no traffic, it takes 1 hr to reach the twin tower. We visited on Sunday, so there was no traffic and it took us 1 hr to reach there. I have heard on weekdays there is lots of traffic and takes about 2 hrs to reach on such days. If time is a constraint, take the metro from the airport to KL Sentral, and from there you will get the metro to twin towers. It would take 40mins by metro to reach the twin tower from the airport.

Hello, one question - i have booked malysoan airline from Shanghai to India having 15 hrs layver at Kuala Lumper. I will land to KL at 08:30 and my next connecting flight to india is at 23:30 pm same day. I have check in luggage. I want to explore KL going out, then what is the process- is it mandatory to collect my luggage at KL? Or for connecting flight i can directly go outside walking through immigration without collecting my luggage and return to airport before flight time? Pls answer
Depends on the airline whether they would transfer your luggage to the next airline. But most probably they won't be doing it, and you will have to collect your luggage at KL and transfer it to your next flight. Please confirm it with the airline. You can keep your luggage at the luggage counter at KL airport or there are several other clock rooms in KL Sentral where you can keep your stuff for a nominal fee.
@@travelingcouple2023 Hi i travelled through KL with 15 hrs layover. There was no need to collect luggage. I simply went to immigration, they stamped on my passport and informed me to return back 3 hrs before flight time. It was a nice trip.

Hi, Thank you for the information on MDAC. However, my question is, my flight is connecting flight which is from India to KL via Thailand. So, what should I mention in last port of embarkation?
Is entry through MDAC valid for once only? Will I require a transit visa on my journey back to india from Indonesia if there is a change in terminal at kuala lampur?
Hii, Which phone number did you use to register Grab app in KL?? Did you purchase a sim card after arriving in KL. Need this info for a similar itinerary in august.
Hi, we purchased a sim at the airport and used that to book grab. If you want to avoid that, then at the airport you will get travel agencies from whom you can book a cab to go around the city and visit tourist spots.
Hey i have transit of 2 hours and 40 minutes i need to change terminal still i need mdac card? Even its say give information of stay in Malaysia. I am not staying in Malaysia
Hi, I am guessing your connecting flight is international and PNR is the same in your connecting flight. In that case you won't need the MDAC form. In any other case you might need to go through immigration and require the MDAC. You can follow this instruction: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UhcIT8TET_M.htmlsi=qQbv4Da-0kE6iTce
Hello i am traveling to Malaysia:kula lampur i have layover in kl then i need to take flight to langkawi with same pnr again i will be back to kl then india so which aadress i should mention
Hi, I am not very sure, but most probably you will have to do immigration at Kuala Lumpur and then move to the domestic terminal to catch the langkawi flight. The address should be the place where you will be staying in Langkawi Malaysia.
@@104-gandlaharshita8 Hi you will receive an acknowledgement mail that you have filled up the MDAC form. And you should download the filled MDAC form from the main site (as shown in the video). No approval of MDAC form is there.
Hi..I am travelling to Indonesia and my layover is KL international airport. I have booked Airasia flight and terminal is same, but the PNR is different. Do i need to take Transit visa or MDAC form is sufficient.
Hi @akheelmohammed211 no need to take transit visa, MDAC is sufficient for immigration till 31st Dec 2024. Also if your PNR is different, you can use your e-boarding pass at Kuala Lumpur airport. No need to go through immigration. But for safety, carry the MDAC form in case you need to go through immigration at KL
