I’m getting a juvenile Achilles tang next week, I have almost the same tank dimensions as you thanks for sharing this video, I’ll be picking up an additional pump for water flow. Hey what’s the song that cuts in at 6:24 ?
WOW awesome fish so sad you went threw that. Keep doing research bro don’t give up these are things that the fish hobbits go threw and yes it’s expensive and Achilles tangs are very hard fish to keep. Very hardy fish. So sorry you lost puma. Thank you for sharing with us. Gbless crazy thumps👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Great video I would like to thank you for sharing it with us I have the sicce 7.0 pump and now my apex fusion is not control it now so I will have to see why. I do have another question I see on your Apex Fusion you have reminders showing up how do you do that

Thank God for Jake. He will definitely be missed I can’t even count how many hours I’ve spent watching his videos and learning all the little things I missed when I first got into the hobby. I’m still speechless
Hey bro.. If you have exisiting tangs Switch up the tank..rearamge rock Introduce fish at night or in a Fish trap. Sock nori or a good flake foos in garlic This will help the eatting process
Hey man I really appreciate your info. I just purchased 2 xl Achilles tangs. I already have a powder blue tang and white cheek tang as well but I took them both out the display and into a quarantine tank as well. The plan is to add all 4 fish back in the tank after a month and I move all the landscape around so they will all have to find new spot in the tank and avoid fighting if possible. What do you think about that idea of mines. I'm also adding a large chocolate tang, sailfin tang and clown tang. All fish are in quarantine tanks for another week. I'm actually hoping both Achilles, white cheek and powder blue school together or atleast spread the aggression and get along. I watch all your videos and a guy told me to have success with Achilles they should be put in hypo salinity in quarantine tank a few weeks. That usually knocks the ich if they have it and potential flukes. Always put a few green chromis in so the Achilles can catch on to eat because it makes them want to eat too. Weird. Have a spung filter and 2 wave makers for current. Make sure they eat aggressive. I never use copper in quarantine, just hypo salinity. Works every time. I used this same method 6 Years ago and I had the same Achilles for 5 years never any issues. I had a heater malfunction and it cooked all my fish. So now I don't use heaters, just go off the house temp. Which is about 78. Hey man I'm sorry this message is so dam long but don't give up on Achilles. Get another Achilles. I can get you a number where bigger Achilles are 350 shipped to your home. One more thing, in quarantine tank I use a few real rocks to build a small cave for him. And I use a small layer of sand just enough where you can't see the bottom. All the fish I get eat rite away and the Achilles I had years ago did the same. I have a video on my page now of one of Achilles and chocolate tang in quarantine tank.
Mu experience is the achelis tang will develop ick unless you have a area of strong water flow.. they come from high current area's.. the lack of this will stress thus ick.. also sock nori in garlic and a low flow UV light well be a good investment. As for adding the fish.. I would add all the smaller tangs at once.. the larger tang i would but in a fish teap added at night and let the smaller tangs take up territory with thr larger tang is in the trap. Maybe 24hrs later release him while lights are off
If this ain’t me 😂. Working on the tank while my wife watches her reality tv. But you had to make sure you through that in there when the old lady walked by “$9 frags” 😂
I have the same unit and it definitely does the job on a 100 gal system. Wiped out Ich and Dinos multiple times. Giant PITA to clean every 6 months as mineralization builds up on the tube. I removed mine to clean it a couple weeks ago and am not going to re-install until I need to. Definitely clears up water (crystal clear) as it kills all the bacteria in the water column. Pros and cons to that they say since coral consume bacteria, but my SPS were doing great.
You can’t tell what looks good, and what doesn’t, as the quality of your video is crap 💩 just a waste of time, until you improve your filming 🎥 techniques, there’s no point. 👎🏻🏴
🤣 this is so me , always tryin to justify an impulse buy heheee and don’t get me started on the wife lol she chewed me out for getting a $1500 tank idk what she would do to me if I bought a fish for $400 😂
