I'm a graduate of Berklee College Of Music that earns my living teaching, recording, and playing guitar in North Carolina.
On this page you'll find transcriptions, solo guitar arrangements, and guitar lessons for songs and artists I find particularly interesting, and usually a little off the beaten path. I love twangy guitars, fuzzy psychedelia, open tunings, all kinds of slide guitar, stabby angular playing, as well as thoughtful melodic simplicity.

Dude. The food rhythm and story rhythm trick is an epiphany for me. I've struggled with pulling away from straight time and adding syncopation and swing when I improvise (Im a recovering drummer). Those two ideas help so much. Thanks for doing these lessons. Always enjoy watching your videos.
This album was in Mom and Dads big table stereo unit for sure. I didnt know then we were in great times...I will learn this arrangement its wonderful man bless you.
Another Billy Joel basanova is Until The Night from 52nd Street. It doesn't have the double second beat, but it sure sounds like the bass part you're playing.
Finally a guy y'all can actually learn from!..he gets right to the point while playing the riff w/ tab!... I've been playing over 40 yrs and true to the form of truly loving guitar I'm always watching others to see what they have to share and offer music constantly evolves so there's always someone playing something new ..but I've grown tired of youtube guitar teachers who take up 90% of the video talking theory or basic techniques in an advanced teaching video!..HELLO ...you're teaching advanced but you come across pushing beginner 101 !!..y'all know them type A folk ...Eric doesn't do that ! unless it's a beginner lesson...and he automatically assumes if you're watching his video on writing licks that you already know how to play a lick and read guitar tab..and he loves some really great indie psych blues bands you've most likely never heard of! Great chance to add cool fresh tricks and sounds that haven't been over saturated in the blues world .I'm a blues guitarist and admit we need some freshness in da" blues!
broooo you living legend with the catfish blues great example of a killer riff love that subtlety to rolling off some volume on the fuzz hendrix had the god damn feel!!!!!
what do you mean that notes on g barre chord will work with that particular G scale but the 5 chord will not…im assuming you’re talking about the D CHORD
