Mattel has made some very bad decisions in blocking old episodes of the original Thomas the Tank Engine series. That's the Thomas everyone wants, not the current one who is very innocent, speaks in a high-pitched voice and lacks fun. Animated series are becoming more childish than before. The previous characters showed a stronger generation while the current one is weaker and stupider.
I’ll say this, if Thomas was bought by Hasbro, chances are that we would be better off now!! Then again Hasbro may or may not handle Thomas very well but I think we can all agree they would handle it WAY better than Mattel can!
Bro is acting like this is recently happening. Also, a Reboot was honestly gonna happen sooner or later. Its not like their gonna cut the brand off or anything, Thomas is what turns a lot of Mattels profits. That, and Barbie. As for the whole them taking down classic episodes, that's probably because their uploading the lot themselves.
I’ll be waiting for the day when Thomas is sold by Mattel, the day when Thomas goes into Public Domain and the day when Thomas is back to it’s pre-Mattel glory.
