Usually try to keep up with the tide. When it comes to filming and working 3-4 poles, it’s a challenge. I use light medium set ups and braided line. Keeping the drag looser when using heavier weights (especially on a beach with a lot of sand bars) prevents some strain on my reels. Never had an issue with line twisting.
I live in Shell Point outside of Parris Island and have been to Hunting Island a few times but NEVER caught any fish. Maybe I’ll try again this weekend. 😁
