As a gen Z strength athlete these kids definitely need some more Bill Kazmaier and Chuck Vogelpohl in them lol Build some damn muscle train hard eat and sleep well and the rest will fall in place
John is amazing. The problem with asking him training questions, is everything works for him. He has said on record he set world records eating uncrustables, being up all night playing videos game, doing the same program he started with, and running less gear than most females. He's just a 1 in 8 billion athlete.
There always something you can dig up that can be useful, nothing that he does is by accident. It was interesting that his favorite deadlift variation was paused deadlifts, which I can't stand but willing to give another try
Great episode again!!! John should hire Nick to improve his press(GET THE BEST IN THE WORLD!!) ALSO WORLD WATCH OUT CAMBI LIKES DEADLIFTS LIKE HE DOES OVERHEAD OH MAN!!!!
I think having more tools is never a bad thing. And in a sport where stability is of such huge importance, a tool that introduces instability seems very useful. I like it in overhead because it forces my lockout to be stronger than the actual bar load requires because of how the weight swings down when you catch it
