Was dying to see this DVD. I can't fault the filmakers intentions but it is one of the worst music documentaries I've ever seen. There is no narrative and no structure. It is just a cobbled mass of talking heads from various years. Grant Showbiz has far too long on screen and the editing is appalling. John Peel's contributions are the best thing about the film. It is the filmic equivalent of nails/blackboard. Also, advertised on the back, the claim that the bonus content is a rare interview with MES. What it actually contains is a 90 second horrendous edit of Smith half answering various unheard questions. Wanted to like it, and could even forgive a homemade effort but this is dreadful. I feel cheated...
