Impressive. I can see possibilites with the scanning method where the data is used on a CNC milling machine to make a 'positive' mould or die stamp in resin-stone or some other tough material in order to use it to press out a basic shaped panel using the rubber press forming method (into urethane rubbber sheet which behaves like a 'fluid' under pressure).
I don't have a lot of knowledge about this, so forgive my ignorance, but is the final product in this video mirrored? It looks like the opposite side to me? Thanks
You have a good eye and well done for picking up on that It is the opposite side and that is because I was basically filming and making both sides of the car at the same time so that it would improve efficiency on tooling setup I designed the buck to be reversible the use for both side
