While rendering, at least only in the process of rendering I observe this - the laptop begins to heat up and the sounds inside sound like a plane that's about to take flight - I guess it's increasing at that time the clockspeed - I didn't test exactly that - I believe it's 5.8 GHz - you see the main idea it's that I don't want to link 100% to technical numbers, I wanted to show from an intuitive pesrsective of how it feels the work rather that sticking to some +/- seconds of it's activity. I guess that it has to be at least close to that number Intel writes on the processor - anyway if it gives around 30-40 min / render view - it's ok for me 😉 - previously I was getting a view in 1.5 - 2 hours
Why laptop tho??? Why not make for ur self a nice PC ??? This laptops are saying they are with rtx 4090 but it is not full GPU it is cripple Same with the CPU.... It is not as good as desktop CPU that is in same category... I mean if u need new PC... Then build desktop PC bc this laptops rarely work for 2 years I guess Maybe u got it so u can work outside of ur home lol , makes sense. sorry
Actually I was looking for PC - but the idea is that it's almost twice as this laptop ((( - it's my next target !!! For now I can say it's doing what it has to do - by the way I think they are at least for 5 years working, hope it lives at least 5 )))
@@interiordesign3dsmax well u have the best designed laptop. I mean inside and then out. But I see super io bios chips die right after the warranty has passed, that or it will be dead mosfet on mono charging port. So that is my advice.. Do not take the charger out of the port bc they are designed to fail and u can do that bc u want to use the laptop as pc so congratulations on the new beast and have fun using it ☝ ☝
@@antonioch1135 all the images appear white? or just one in particular? your vray is installed properly? you use vray frame buffer? your alpha chanel is turned on?
hello sir.. could you please tell me what I'm doing wrong..? I have a lot of volumetric clouds and for some reason regular VRay cpu renderer doesn't know how to manage them, it just renders the clouds transparent, so for that I render it with the GPU, at first the render was coming I out okay and I was even able to get the bloom/glare effect on HQ renders, but now I can only get it when I hit the interactive render button which just gives me the lowest resulotion possible.. so could you please help me understand if there's something I'm not doing to get the lens effects on a high resolution render?
final render it's a mix of layers - and there are layers that are activated after the entire render is ready - they use the info/data that was calculated and after that apply a smaller algorithm to calculate additional features you see in Vray (for example - I'm using only Vray) - I'm not sure about clouds - I work only with interiors - my tasks are linked to interior design projects mainly - but - if you don't see it in interactive render - perhaps that layer is only activated after full render calculation Do you use new Vray 6 clouds? I watched a bit how they work - but it's not my direction - I dig in depth in my main interior direction, I don't have time now to be a learner, except for some small features that can increase my image level ... hope it was useful )
@@interiordesign3dsmax thank you for replying on such a short notice.. to be honest the main problem is with the sun.. I get the bloom/glare in the process of IPR, but can't get it in the end of an HQ render, doesn't matter if it's for a minute or for many hours, the lens effects is just greyed out and I can't even enable it. also yes I'm working with volumetric clouds which are a part of an environmental project I've been working on lately 🙂, but that's just fine, my concern is the glare
hello. My name is Gua Yang. I am a person who lives in Korea and does architectural CG. I like the video of you testing vray. So, if you don't mind, I'd like to reprocess it into a video introducing it in Korean using Google Translate. And I hope to use your video. (Now This comment was using Google Translate.... hahaha...^^;) um... So if maybe can I use this video? P.S: I'm not good at English. So... I need your understanding. Thank you for reading this comment.
Only Brute force (use it for renders - gives a lot better results) - it is based on calculating the light bounce points - the algorithm of Irradiance map it's a bit different - still, keep in mind - it won't help too much if your lights are out of balance - try interactive render and light lister before your final render
Thanks for answer. Brute Force better but longer, I choose IR for my project deadline. I just play with my setting and now it work with Irradiance map already.
@@vjaygroup8759 I use only Brute force - you will deal in quality favour vs speed with time if you seek to grow - anyway, glad it was useful - success !!!
