How fitting Bette got her start in NYC performing in front of crowds at bathhouses and now she's come full circle back on Broadway. I know she hated LA and couldn't wait to move to NY. She deserves every award accolade she gets.
She sold her park ave coop for a fortune. Her sister Susan still lives in Bette’s apartment on barrow street. Probably a rent stabilized or rent controlled apartment on a beautiful street in the village.

@@flav2689 glad you enjoy her. The divine miss m was a creation of bill Hennessy and Barry manilow and it was the best drag show ever. Bette Midler killed off the character and the camp for mainstream fame and fortune. Hennessy’s other creation, the manhattan transfer, did the same thing and went all jazz. Without the camp for fame and fortune.
