Yeah, I guess with nothing to keep all the dust, dirt and pebbles out. No worries though. I don't intend to drive it raw from now on. I'm just disappointed of the design of the latch. It just broke so easily. Maybe should have opted for the 16209 with body clips.
I have others mjx and they are ok, this one came with a longer throttle delay and a click on the trigger, I don´t know why becaushe the others models are ok with the same transmiter, but the car itself is amazing
Can't really say. It will flip if you try sharp turns on full throttle. Maybe it's for the best if you don't step too hard on the gas in the turns since it causes stress on the nylon gears.
When you do your swing at the end don’t have the sword touching your head it should be a fists length away. Otherwise with a shinken you’ll scalp yourself
Oh and also when you are putting your katana in its saya use your left hand more to pull back the saya others it’ll be difficult for you to get it in. And cover the entrance to the saya for safety with a real sword you’d cut your hand open
Hey thanks for all the hints. The video is actually from 2018 or 2019. Back then I didn't even have my first exam, but I was asked to take part and represent the school 😅. Since then I had the chance to practice way more. Still lots of stuff to learn though. Have a good one
Thank you sharing this. I imagined myself being in the car :).. You've done some really great work with this good luck with with the rest of your journey. Sending love from NZ
Yeah thanks! I am always tempted to do more slow mo stuff, but I don't want to overdo it. Maybe I will make my very own "Snyder cut" including only slow mo shots of RCs😅😄
Yes, voice over is lagging behind there. I was a pointing at the servo but by the moment I mentioned it I was already pointing at the servo😅. It's valid to point it out since it might irritate others as well. Have a good one 🙏
This thing is EVIL😎👌I'm a massive citroen rally car fan, even to the point of trying to build my own road going rally spec engine for my full scale saxo❤with the help of Darren Spooner of 'spooks motorsport' the thing goes like shit off a shovel! (so quick) it surprises so many cars on the road 😂 it's the saxo 1lt shell but it has the 1.6 16v TU5 J4 vts engine which is tuned to quite a decent spec, she has forged internals, aggressive cams, big injectors, stand alone ecu, throttle bodies, limited slip diff and she's around the 700kg area, not many cars can touch her on small country roads 😂👍 so just based on how much of a citroen fan I am, I seriously want to add this to my rc collection, thanks for sharing bro 😎👍those drift tyres would be great for trying to simulate an icy snow stage😎👍
Sounds like a Citroën fan to me 😉. Wow, that seems to be like a good amount of hours that you have put in your saxo. I hope you will finish your road, it sounds like a dream project. Good idea with the stimulated ice track. Probably I will have to get better in drifting for that😅. Cheers ☺️
@@carlitofisher Aye, it has taken years to get her to the stage she's at now (alot of blood sweat and tears) but I finally have her on the road 😆 she's a complete handful to drive and definitely not for the feint hearted. I've upset quite a few people who have more expensive shiny cars 😂👍all that is left to do in my mind is tidy up the bodywork which I'm trying to save up for...... although, with her ratty beaten up looks, I think it adds to the element of surprise when I'm ripping past the more expensive shiny cars, she's definitely a sleeper rocket 😂👌I have a couple of shorts up on my channel of her but that was before 'Spooks motorsport' got their hands on her, she sounds and goes so much better now, I'll have to put some more shorts up of how she is now (when I get chance) With those drift tyres..... turn your throttle dual rate down, keep the revs low, with the assistance of the onboard gyro, the 4WD and a bit of practice/patience you will soon be there 😎👍
Fun Fact: World Rally Championship cars have license plates and road legal turn signals because they have to travel on public roads between stages. Imagine seeing this thing come PLAP💥 PLAPPING 💥 past you 😁 I believe they are also de-tuned so they aren't running their full power on the roads either. It's a good little all around car, but I threw the plastic cover in the trash and put a dust net on my 14302. It works much better, but if the inside of the wheel gets too much dirt or gravel, it locks up. Still, I love that little car. It's a freakin' rocket on 3S 🚀
Now that you mention it, I heard that before. Imagine taking a detour to work just so you can let some gravel fly 😁. Ditching the dust cover is a good idea and the net sounds even better. Going to try 3S 🏎️🤯 in a future video. Would be great if they had more licensed bodies. Have a good one
Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, I am still tinkering around a little bit. There is always room for improvement 😅. This line of small scale RCs by pinecone models has sparked my interest. I'd love to check out the 2402 pro version. Have a good one 🙏
There's a very lightweight, plastic, highly detailed 1/24th scale D90 shell that can be adapted to fit this chassis..... it's from a company called 'welly' I fitted one to mine and it definitely improved the COG thus making it perform so much better 😎👍
Yeah, I know the Welly models. They have a huge variety of affordable proper licensed toy cars. Years ago I made reviews on some of them in German. Back then I did those videos in one take without editing and music 😅. Your build sounds cool. interesting to know that the Welly cars fit on this platform.
Hi there, l am not sure whether I can still recommend this RC. My initial review was when it was introduced for a price at about 60$. Since then the price for this model has nearly doubled on most sites, while still selling the metal CVDs and metal shocks extra. It's way overpriced for 120$. If you like this style of car you can get this Wltoys 1:10 scale RC for about the same price: www.banggood.com/custlink/DmD5uqgSf6. I could not find a 1:16 scale model of the CF moto, but I also found this brushless SSV also for the same price: www.banggood.com/custlink/GvK5fq4omD. I hope I could help you out there
@@carlitofisher I played with it last night for the first time - it's perfect for indoors, on the floorboards with the grip tyres. The cats were mesmerised. Good speed for a little car. Only $39 on special as well, here in Adelaide, Australia. Absolute bargain!
Definitely a cool buggy. Rangoli RC has some cool run videos as well of this little tank of a car. I was thinking of what other MJX to add to the fleet and I think this is it. Yeah they have some issues, but you can't beat what you get for the money 💯
Yeah, Rangoli RC sometimes comments on my videos. I have checked out the channel ☺️👍. I am very fond of that RC and I am glad it gets so much recognition. You are right. They have an insane price value

Yes, you have heard right. Since the axles are designed to fit on the TRX-4M and Austar can't completely build the chassis without getting sued, means that not all the upgrade parts are interchangeable between Traxxas and Austar. The front axle was fitting perfectly but the rear axle would not fit right out of the box. After installation it would be attached in a weird angle and the rear drive shaft was giving me problems too. I assume you can make it fit but you would have to modify the chassis of the Austar. I don't own a TRX-4M which, would have made the installation process much easier, but maybe we'll get some adapters to make the rear axle fit on the Austar or it might even get it's own set.
Hi carlito! I have being loving your videos for a long time now but there is still a thing that bothers me. The music you use in the video is always a much higher volume than your voice and I need to adjust the volume throughout the video :( if you could lower the volume of the music it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks and keep up with this awesome videos of budget rcs ❤
Hi and thanks for the feedback. I will try three things for my upcoming videos: 1. Lower the music volume 2. Enhance the voice audio and 3. use headphones while mixing the audio. You can tell me next weekend whether it worked. I want to be more kind to peoples eardrums in the future ☺️. Have a good one ❤️
This is a great truck, same chassis as HBX2995, -6 and -7. I got the Flyhal version also, I put a 4500kV bushless in it and a cool Beetle body, it is now a crazy basher. To begin with, it was a bit slow... Have fun with yours, if you need any info about this platform, check Derby City RC, he's got plenty videos with this.
Wow, that sounds quite powerful. I will check out derby city RCs videos and then swing by your channel 😁. I'm sure you're having great fun with your basher.
Interesting. It should be good quality if it's a Haiboxing. It looks like it could be lots of fun with a brushless upgrade and 3S, but not too bad on the stock setup.
Yes, it is a great price value. Currently you can get it for as low as 80$. You can still get a brushless kit for 50$ and own a brushless truck for the retail price of the brushed version. The brushless version HBX 2996A is at about 130$ at the moment. Links in the description 😅. Looking forward to try more HBX models. Thanks for tuning in ☺️
Hi Brian, as I mentioned in the video I had trouble with upgrading the rear drive shaft since it is first and foremost designed for the TRX-4M. No worries though. You can dry your tears as I dried mine. The metal drive shafts designed for our beloved AX-8560 are now available☺️: www.banggood.com/custlink/DKK5fBcLoT . Have fun and be safe out there.
Hi, if you ask me I would always buy the 14209. They are the same build but the 14209 speaks more to me. Somehow the 14209 also felt better while driving it. The 14210 is asked more often it seems because it resembles the design of a RC from a bigger brand. I am not feeling it so I sold it. I'm pretty sure you haven't seen the last video featuring the 14209 on my channel ☺️. In the end it comes down to your personal preference and and what what makes you smile more.
Hi, there definitely people out there who like to tinker on those models. Here are some parts you might find interesting: www.banggood.com/custlink/vGmFu5IKJV or www.banggood.com/custlink/mmDPf59vWL. Greetings Carlito
