Demon tongues? First off thats a powerful gift God calls us to have and perform as believers. It says in Mark 16:17-18 17 "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." Thats first of all. And when you say demon tongues. You not only blasphemed the Holy Spirit which is Jesus and called him evil. But you also committed the unforgivable sin. Matthew 12:31-32 "Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. 32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come." Unless you didnt know that that is the unforgivable sin then there's still a chance to repent to God. Jesus loves you, repent.

So, was Copeland just speaking gibberish to get more money? Yes. Also, years ago Copeland was trained by Hagin under a "drunk again" spirit. A false spirit is demonized, because satan likes to copycat what God does, but it doesn't have the same power. So, satan's goal with fake gifts is to turn people away from trusting in the real Jesus Christ.
