I feel very fortunate to have met George in person 🙏 Incidentally it was because of my contacting him via Twitter that he traveled to Hamburg and was present during this performance of Peredur 🤭
Best demo of The Pipe with chromatic playing so far, thank you! Too many other videos concentrate on ambient soundscapes drowned in reverb and end up sounding somewhat same-y.
Sad that I missed the chance to see (and hear) you live at the List-Orgel at Denstedt. However, it was nice to had a chat with you at the Schaukelbrücke at Weimar.

Thank you so much, Mr Levine. I am an adult student working on this piece for my next exam. I love the expression and colour that you bring out, all with such ease, strength and style. I particularly appreciate your bowing that flows so organically. I have written it into my music from the slowed down version. Again, I love the pattern and musical logic of your bowing. Wonderful performance. Very inspiring. Thank you again. Very best regards. G Ire
Visiting a memorial for Rosa Bartl-born 07/17, 1884 in Vienna, died 09/23, 1968 in Hamburg-at the "Garden of the Women" (Garten der Frauen) in the park cemetery Ohlsdorf.
A kraakdoos was the first electronic music/noise instrument I bought as a teenager, and it's around 3 years ago I started my theremin journey. (started with a Moog Theremini, then Moog Etherwave Plus and presently a Subscope Voicematic Anniversary model).
It's so beautiful how they make music! I always have to cry. With joy of the feeling of the sounds, FMB was once here, in my hometown Koblenz. Thanks for the Vid! Greetz! Jan btw.: I would have liked to have photographed the gig, but then the music would not have been in the foreground. So it's better!
Fascinating to see my old music teacher who got me through music O level at Totton Grammar School in 1964! I remember him playing Brubeck, Britten, Bartok and much more to us. An inspiration, and I became a music teacher and composer myself
I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊 I had contacted George (via Twitter!) when his "Peredur" was performed at Albert-Schweitzer-Schule Hamburg. Had a lot of fun doing the DVD-production 🤗
