My 2012 vw Passat diesel fuel. Will not start every morning the battery is dead . The alternator is charging it all day but let it sit at night and there is no juice
What is this part called at 2:57? On my BMW E70 2010 it is only on one side, the same area is empty on the passenger side. You called it "sensor" in your video.
Thank you for this video because the other video I watched you basically had to disassemble the entire engine down to the crank bearings to get the alternator out and this makes it looks so much easier
Tried doing this but can't get it to seal, coolant pours out. Is there a way to do this without a lift? Very poor clearance, seemed to only get 2 fingers of one hand in there.
I have 2003 Elantra, left side is easy but other side where is the battery is a little bit rough needs to take some plastics off to get there Thanks for the help🙂
Same here! My sister-in-law's '03 Civic was acting crazy, dash lights coming on, not starting intermittently, seemed to be in "Limp Mode" etc. Popped the hood and went to set the hood rod and it started sparking at the hinge point! The plastic hold-down clip was broken and the rod made it's way to the hot post of the battery! Glad we caught it before any major damage was done to any other components or worse, a fire!
Or you can just use the bolt to put on the harmonic balancer I just did it right. Now because the nut from the kit didn’t fit just do it like if your tightening it and it start going in slowly
