An important thing kind of glanced over is esa, are not service animals because service animals are trained to hlp with persons disability esa has zero public rights so its completely normal for them not to be recognized as service animals and they NEVER should be esa does not task and is not trained thats the point to be esa and service animals being diffrent. it be insane to recognize them as the same its not unfortunate at all. nothing wrong with esa as long as you don't scam laws and try to use it in public and break laws by trying to use it as service animal. and not scam laws by claiming its esa just to have pet live with you in no pet housing. real issue around esa is getting bad reputation is people using them to scam people. not doing that and being the proper owner of esa could change that. mental health and emotional support needs is not the same as a medical alert seeing eye and service animals esa do not belong on public. esa having zero requirements, zero regulations should never be in same palace as medical equipment which service dogs are legally due to being TRAINED. "n the United Kingdom, you will NOT be allowed to take such an animal into businesses due to the health laws" this is law in uk so telling people esa is allowed in public is misinformation. and telling people its ok to break laws. service animals are trained and have standards for a reason.
What a great video. I suffer with anxiety and depression and leukaemia and the whole heap of other health problems. I have a dog 16 years of age. I’ve had her all her life and I couldn’t be without her when I signed up for property with a council property because my last property suffered badly with damp and because of my health I really had to move and even though this property wouldn’t take my dog no matter how many times I asked for the first two weeks you had to go to my mum’s which luckily is in the same village as me, but I wasn’t going to give up because I got my Mental Health team to write a letter to the council and I’ve got a letter from my GP and I saw another letter from someone else stating that if I couldn’t have my dog with me, my Mental Health would go downhill. Council had a conversation about my case and they wrote me a letter stating that I could have my dog with me living with me and that was the best news I’ve ever heard so as soon as I heard it I went straight round to Mum’s and got my dog best thing ever. I just don’t know how you are not allowed to take dogs or any animal in certain places in the UK. I wish they were like service dogs or any animal.
I feel my dog is definitely a big part it supporting me emotionally but I don’t suffer from mental heath but I do generally see me councillor on a regular basis, can I get her registered as an ESA?
Hi sorry for the late reply. So there is no official standing as of right now in the UK with ESA's. The closest thing that can be done is to provide a letter from your doctor to explain why you need them
Hey, long time no see! It’s been a little while since I caught one of your videos, and just wanted to say hi and hope you and yours are well… See you when you’re back, I hope!!
Hey, yes I did have a couple of things in the works. I'm dealing with some long term.... unpleasantness right now that's preventing me from creating but trust me... good thing come to those who wait. I appreciate you
@@Saladcreamboi Sorry to hear you’re having a rough time. I hope it passes quickly, and things are easier for you soon. Take your time, don’t stress; we’ll all be here whenever you’re ready ☺️ All the best
I'm an American living in England forever. I want to visit my home town. I have depression and panic disorder. I won't go without the dog. My dog can handle it. Are you saying it's a matter of a letter and money? BTW, I brought my late dogs to the UK with one of those services. They were freaked but it was fine!!!!!!!! 😊
Thank you. Appreciate that. Suffering a mild injury right now but will be back on it soon. Oh and on my later shorts I'm now aiming to do a joke per short.... just to say thanks for watching 😊
