Stone molds would never work for me. Aluminum all day everyday.

Yeah that oil needs to be applied when using those stone molds. I have probably 15 molds from that guy, mine all work great with oil.

I have a few stone molds and aluminum molds from Best_nj. They are not bad, just single cavity. I rarely shoot them anymore only because my Angling A.I. stack is pretty high now. Custom making lures is the best, not gonna find blood red with green, purple, and black flake on the store shelf... Great Job++

I bought a few of those molds. Basically have to paint the inside of the mold in worm oil every 3 shoots…

I feel your pain with the flashing, hollow worms and dents. Never seen a bass care about dents. My favorite spring bait is a carolina rigged light watermelon chartreuse tail lizard.

Thanks for the tips , I got one for you if your baits are delaminating try putting them on a flat griddle while still in the mold , also helps with those weird spots on baits . Basically it remelts the bait , Donno if you was doing that already but I figured I'd be a smartazz and leave a post 😂

Where did you buy the crappie molds

That's awesome.

I use BP and DoP Plastisol. I rotate my gallons top to bottom every other day (im in the garage alot so it only takes a few seconds) to keep it from separating. It helps alot. I also purge my injectors, lube the o-rings, and "barista shake" my cups after heating to bring bubbles to the top where I burn them off with a butane torch quick. Seems to really help with the bubbles as I dont have a vac chamber yet. Great vids man, keep em coming. If youre ever in the Binghamton NY area hit me up, I have a few nice local spots I can take you to and get on some nice bass.

Have you tried that Bait plastics purple glitter in any lighter colors? I am having problems finding a purple glitter that doesn't bleed out. just found your channel..nice baits

Purge the air out of your injectors before injecting your molds. Also get you a can of pam spray to lube your injectors. You could be sucking air pass the o-rings causing your problems. The pam spray last longer than worm oil and it can handle the heat better than worm oil.

That peach color matched with an olive head would darn near get you an electric chicken color which is deadly on crappie

You are doing nothing wrong. It’s the way the mold is layer out. You can not do a laminate with the tail in both side. Look at Fgf 3” ripper

Just tried this and it worked insanely good. I had my doubts with the tails of my crappie flukes but they came out insane! Saved me a bunch of money!
