First off all great video bud. I was looking for my Ford Focus ABS sensor videos but found yours and watched fully as I enjoyed it. Few things though. 1. Not everything is supposed to click. That was the plug and adapter you were wanting to hear the click from. Like you plug the phone charger in the wall plug and it doesn't click right? It was the same thing with that sensor plug. 2. Always do step by step diagnosis. You realized the wire was faulty so soldered it and then went straight ahead to remove the new sensor and replace it with old one. What if the faulty wire and the original sensor both were the problems? Then you would have to replace the sensor again. Right? Always diagnose every step. 3. It can be a rat who ate the wire lol. Just a guess. Haha. But great and honest video. The struggle was real. What a great way to save that 150$ imo.
Your video gave me the confidence to tackle this job and I got it done ! Taking the whole front bumper and radiator support off made the job much easier. Thanks!!
Thank you!! Getting to the mechanic for one tiny bubble was going to be such a pain for me. I can deal with this annoyance to save some money and pass inspection.
Thanks ! I was about to order an entry keypad when I watched your instruction video. I feel foolish for not realizing I had the same ability to lock ,unlock my new Maverick with my phone. Again thanks!!!
I just had this same problem on a 2019 escape 2.0L Ecoboost. It suddenly happened and I was monitoring the temperature on live data beforehand and it was showing like 85C so it was not really hot but the temperature gauge was showing hot and I had that same overheat message. The temperature gauge would not go back down even after being shut off for a while. The coolant level was fine and the fans were running as this happened. The only way I could get the car to drive again (it was in limp mode) was to clear the codes. Then the temperature hand went back to normal right away and the car was driving perfect afterwards. Prior to this happening I was having a hesitation with a quick flashing engine oil light when I was starting out from a stop. Since this happened that issue went away. I’m not sure what the issue is with this vehicle as last week I had 2 codes for the 2 camshaft position sensors after getting a hesitation with the flickering oil light but that went away too. It seems I have some electrical issue causing problems. I don’t even know if changing this sensor will fix it.
Why do you think you have the right to complain when you didn't even pay a cent to watch this video? Did I force you to watch it? No, I didn't. You don't like it, then go on keep looking for 1 minute video. Do you even have a slight idea what it takes to make such videos?
I've been hit and run numerous times in San Francisco. The police say "it's a civil matter" and unless someone is critically injured or killed, completely ignore hit and runs. I don't fix my car anymore. I just send in the videos and keep the insurance checks. I almost have enough to buy a new car now. It's like the wild West here.
this is exactly the same problem i have; a broken plastic elbow. you mentioned the price was about $40 for the elbow, and was on back-order for 2 weeks, but do you know the part# for this elbow piece?
Hi Try it yourself , can I use this video "Tesla hit and run on I-10 near exit 43 California 6/14/24 " in my compilation of dashcam clips?with credit (name on screen).Any comment?update?
Also, check your radiator cap. When I checked it, my cap was rusty, the spring was stiff, and I cracked the seal. I installed a new one, and the hoses are back to normal.
How much does it cost and where did you buy it. So basically it did not resolve your issue? I wonder since you have a large fuel tank, it might require 2 bottles, please provide a follow up report.😊
To get your emgine test light to reset, disconnect t ground cable (-) from t battery for 5-10 min. Reconnect afterwards and the CPU should be ready to reset itself 😊
