A little passion project of mine. I comb the flea markets and estate sales looking to those very rare animals - VHS tapes that people use to record everyday life on - from special events to whatever was on TV at the time.
While there were literally millions of these tapes produced, many people have simply discarded them as the VCR's slowly died out. They are a rare thing to find these days.
A lot of these tapes are time capsules of the 1980's to the early 2000's. I make it a bit of a mission to rescue as many of these tapes as I can find and mine as much gold as I can.

Question: Do you have a recording of a sighting of the TMC variant of the Tonight schedule lineup of FLIX, prior to early-May 2006? There were sightings of the TMC variant of the Tonight schedule lineup of FLIX, on December 17th, 2003.
@@bargainbincinema I’ll put it this way for you: During mid-2003 to early-2006, the Showtime variant of the Tonight schedule lineup of FLIX was initially reserved to being shown before the promos, while the TMC variant appears after those promos. Also, in the TMC variant, they would show their 2001-2006 logo.
Isn't it amazing. Barbara Stanwyck is the Matriarch in The Big Valley and in The Thorn Birds, she's also a matriarch. I was stunned to know that Lou Rawls (RIP) guest starred on the show. He did the music for Garfield, and he also created the Telethon Of Stars where money raised went to the United Negro College Fund.
My favorite group! Down to earth folks. Got to know them when I lived in Virginia. Ran into Don Reid Several times in Harrisonburg Virginia at the Walmart during the time my daughter was attending James Madison University in the 90s. We would talk about anything. I remember one time he was asking me which large decorated container he was looking at that I liked best. You would never think that he was in one of the most awarded acts in country music. I got to know Jimmy Fortune after the Statlers had retired and he was performing at different places in Virginia. He was always interested in my experiences when I served in Vietnam and would talk to me for quite a few minutes after he had performed. He seemed very interested in veterans in general. Great guys! I will never forget them.
