Anyone actually hiring a DJ, even for ANY professional reason like a festival, is a complete retard. 99% of "DJ's" just press play, even deadmau5 admitted to it. If you wanna pay a monkey $10k to press play and run in circles for an hour, you deserve to live in poverty.
Honestly, it would be super cool to have a night where 1000 DJs are spinning up & down city blocks. Just all different stuff too. And plenty of alcohol/etc. of course.
A structural component of this sketch is that, the less affluent the dj is, the worse they are at it. Not so true in my experience, I think the sweet spot is 40 year old who lives with parents and considered the tracks all week.
