Welcome to Bramble Patch, the quilter’s quilt shop.
With more than thirty years in the quilt shop business, we know that using cheap fabrics and haberdashery in quilt making is a false economy, so we don’t stock them. After all, with the time and effort you put into your craft, you deserve to use the best quality materials and tools for the most beautiful results possible.
Every hand-made quilt is as unique as its maker, so if you’re passionate about patchwork, why not let us fuel your creativity and help you make more beautiful quilts?
I just found this and loved the way you did so much with only four templates! I need to buy those templates cuz have a LOT of scraps . Thank you so much for sharing your work .stay well and creative.
I was just listening to this video again. It is excellent. I wish you would keep making more. I understand that Covid is not the risk as it once was, but I am housebound and isolated. You cheer me up.
Searching for a design to border my latest quilt i came across this video. Excellent and thank you for such clarity within the instructions . Will definitely be looking further into Seminole patchwork on your website
Just come across this RU-vid channel and think it is excellent. Love Seminole patchwork and it’s infinite variety, so thank you for this tutorial. Many tutors who do teach this usually miss out the so easy method of straightening the ends. So thank you for showing this. 👏👏👏👏👏👏A typical quilter’s waste not want not method. 👍👍👍 Now to watch more of Bramble Patch videos.
I've watched various videos and was still puzzled about the bit where you sew the lining and main fabric separately. You made this really clear. Thank you!
Excellent tutorial. Putting the lining seam in the center of the bag is brilliant! I also liked the idea of the French seam at the bottom because it adds strength and also secures the lining. Many thanks from Louisiana, USA.
Thank you for an excellent tutorial. My husband is a member of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma and I want to learn this so that I can make hime a quilted throw with Seminole patchwork.
I'm very pleased to have found your team. I'm looking forward to trying this technique and my imagination is already wondering how it would work with more layers of material. Thank you again.
Excellent tutorial thanks. I'm going to start stacking up quilt as you go blocks for my own quilt. I'm making for everyone else's at the moment and this will help me use up scraps from the projects and give me a treat at the end.
Thank you. I like your tonal choices of fabric used on your personal projects. I am a new returnee to quilting, it's my retirement escapism. My only problem is trying to decide what to do first, I have so many ideas and you have just given me more. I bet it's a common problem for crafters with an increase in their pleasure time.
Hello Wendy, It is so lovely to see yet again another amazing tutorial. I had been looking forward to the this one and it was worth waiting for. The block itself is so interesting, thank you. Best wishes Suzanne
Hello Jeanine, If you use 5 inch squares, the block when trimmed, finishes 8 inches, including seam allowance, you can easily ajust the size, by increasing or decreasing the squares. Hope that helps. Enjoy
