Use the oil to stir fry some veggies, and eat it with rice as a whole meal. Sardines are so good for you and they have low mercury content so you can eat them a lot. Wild Planet lightly smoked are my favorite sardines .. so far.

You really didn't have to say anything. Your reaction in the first few seconds pretty much told us where you stood. 🤣 I agree with the comments stating to combine with other foods. Very few unprepared foods taste good straight out of a can! I'm thinking like whole cooked chick peas aren't great out of a can but add a few ingredients and you have yourself some delicious hummus. Don't know though what goes well with cod liver. The only reason I'd consider cod liver or cod liver oil is for the omega 3s. Sometimes the challenge is finding healthy foods you *do* like. I'm plant based so my omegas now come from chia seeds and algae oil. Even though they are so healthy flax seeds make me gag so I avoid them.
This is my absolute favorite, unreal that its sometimes under $4 at walmart (my local fancy specialty store prices them at more than twice that!). Agreed about the skin, helps keep the moisture and deeper flavor
I love beef liver and considered buying cod liver for it's health benefits. However, after watching this video, there's no way on God's green earth I'm buying it. Thanks for your complete honesty. I'll stick to Sardines and Salmon!
This video is my whole philosophy on bacon. It's not super common to find where I'm from, but I always buy it when I see it. Not all of it, because I am no millionaire! But it works in dishes that require no full strips of bacon! My son once said " Bacon is bacon.... I like bacon, so bacon is good!" I agreed !....
These cans do not spray- manufacturer needs to post a video on how to get the product to spray out. Will not be purchasing again due to getting 2 cans in a row with the same issue...
I tried some for the first time today! I make pancakes every day out of sourdough starter "discard". It turns out, cod liver smeared over it is SO GOOD!
You will be ruined for all other types of sardines after you try these smaller smoked ones from Latvia. The ones from Portugal, Morocco, China, and the super cheap ones in Latino markets are all mushy in texture, while the small Latvia ones have the perfect firmer texture. They're packaged under different labels Like "Riga Gold" or with all Russian text on it except a paper sticker with English. They're also in glass jars and larger cans with metal tops.

I just started to eat it. I blended one tin of the liver and oil, with lemon juice, cream cheese, salt and pepper. It tastes great, and I share this with someone else.
I know this is an old video, but I just bought the vanilla and I loved it but now I want to buy the dark roast and the creamer, to see how I like it. How much coffee do you usually make each time? 8 oz ?
