I had 6 third Gen Firebirds one after another. Then one day they became a little expensive in my opinion. I honestly don't think these cars are worth $5000 to $10000 especially with the original equipment. I absolutely love them. I have not bought one since 2007.
I had a Trans Am Gta 89..had headers .fuel pressure gage in motor..i think it had some work it absolutely flew it was mint i paid 5k in 2018..my dumb ass traded for a pontiac vibe
I can't watch this. Love seeing old iron get saved, can't stand vertical video. Hold your phone correctly for the next one. Landscape mode, not portrait.
I would love to have a decent carbureted 2 door Impala/Caprice from that era. An AZ car would be nice. Something rust free. I was 18 when that model came out in 1977.
They are a super neat car, looking for some parts to help peice it together some more. Next video will be trying on a new set of wheels and fix the transmission issue 😅
If you love the car enough to buy it then get it right mechanically. By that time you'll have had enough time to think about what you want to do with it. There's a good possibility that you could sell it with it being mechanically sound. Possibly let someone else sink the major money into it. I also think there's no going back to the old man's garage kept Sunday driver either. Wild pipe dreams would have me thinking about beefing up the suspension and transmission then dropping in a Chevy 6.0 LS motor with headers and straight pipes. Tint the windows and leave the paint as is for that sleeper look.
That’s gona be the plan. We just put the rear floors in it so the rear passengers don’t fall out haha. De mouse the entire car and mold… gona pick up a carpet for it so the interior is super nice . I think the 305 is going to stay though
