Hi I'm Cody! 👋 I love music, traveling, and being outdoors with nature! I am building a community right here on RU-vid centered around all the things I love the most. Sharing my experience with you along the way 😊
Hey Cody, Great video!! I noticed that this video was 4 years ago. Does this still apply for 2024, or is there a better and new improved way to make an EPK? thanks for your help :)
I just did my 3rd livestream today, i really love it and it got 100 times easier after the first one. I talk about my songwriting process and inspiration and it seems like a hit. How do you get more people to attend? Any tips for that?
Thank you for putting together this beautiful example. I am Latin artist from Nicaragua currently living in Pittsburgh, PA. I make reggaeton and rap and currently released a song titled 'Malvada' with heavy tropical trap influences. I found your video super valuable for promoting myself and my music. Thanks again!
"Be yourself, but also be your audience's b**ch and do everything they say, so it's easier for them to develop an unhealthy, addicted & co-dependent para-social relationship with you." Seems kinda paradoxical, but is noted. Makes me a really happy piece of sheesh to get tips from a person that is obviously just here for attention and ignores their social responsibilities. Here. Have mine, too! 💩👍
Oh i'd love if you react to more straykids songs, i personally love god's menu, venom & maniac, case 143, why, double knot, district 9, back door, Domino, thunderous, and the newer ones; hall of fame and s-class. Sorry, these are many, but i wasn't sure if you already have reacted to some of them
This totally makes sense from a business standpoint! And some artists definitely can benefit from a less is more approach. I think something that’s also important to bring up is the artistic/creative side of music making. Some artists make better products when they’re confined to a single/ep format as it allows them to focus more intently on each track. Other artists work a lot better in an album format where they can create a cohesive concept/narrative across a larger body of work. I think for independent musicians, it comes down to what the purpose of the specific project is and whether it’d work better in a single/ep/album format
