In most cases it is wrong to generalize, but that rule definitely does not hold true with landlords. Have you ever met a landlord that has contributed anything beneficial or positive to society? None of them work for a living. They are leeches. Landlords are born into wealth and use that unearned wealth to suck the financial resources out of people who are actually productive yet too poor to afford proper housing, largely because those people have to pay so much rent to their landlord so he/she can vacation on Maui for a 3rd time this year or buy another luxury car. The phrase "well-maintained rental housing" is an oxymoron. Landlords are scum. Landlords do not deserve respect.
