Hello, How do I know which way to put the filter in the casing? There is no arrow on the filter its self. On the casing it has an arrow but that's not telling me which direction to put the filter in the plastic casing?
This was so helpful that now both my cats and I are able to clean our air filters. We haven't cleaned them in over a year. I hope we find some good debris or even fossils. Do you think I could clean them in the bathtub with my cat?
Thanks for a thorough explanation for maintaining the UV100E1043 system. UV lamp stopped working over a year ago, had ordered a new bulb, but it still did not work. Recently installed 200AMP power panel and rewired my home and it turns out the outlet socket I used was bad and replaced, but the unit still did not light. I didn't know about the reset button on the bottom of the unit, so, thanks so much for your video - reset fixed my issue.

Efficient is not a word I would use to describe an air filter, not unless the air filter can filter out smaller particles without reducing air flow. That's not possible unless the surface area of the filter is increased.
I have been waiting 10 years!! I bought a house 10 years ago had one of these and always made a clicking noise kind of erratically thanks to this video. I just found a bent plate on one of the cells. I had no idea you could run it with only one cell to test it. This It’s just saved me a few hundred dollars! anyone I spoke to over the years had no idea what could be wrong and any other video I saw just told you to replace the cells with a regular paper filter. It’s the cheapest way to fix it!
I accidentally put the Trion 1400 cell in upside down and now it's stuck and I am unable to remove it. Is there a trick to get it out so I can flip it around?
I noticed my humidity level on mine says 13%. Temps outside are currently below zero. Also I noticed the humidifier keeps running even after the furnace shuts off. Is that normal?
anyone figured out how to fix the front door when the pins break off? I have 1 pin left that holds on my door. suction and its general fit keeps it from leaking air but I wonder if anyone has a quick fix for the pins rather than buying a new door.
Do you realize they already make a pre boxed air filter that fits right inside the plastic cage NO ASSEMBLY required took 5 minutes to do! Just put one in for my father law. The very same 2200 unit. Please buy the pre boxed one $
Do you know if the 1413 upgrade kit would fit in an Aprilaire 5000? Are the 2400 and 5000 the same size? We want to shut off the electrostatic wires because of the ozone. Thanks!
