Okay. A few notables, on the track. The track, is NOT designed, for speeds this fast ; IF it were, there would be at least a 15 degree upward angle, on those curve-corners. THE laws, of physics, are broken at this stage of the ' game ' of racing. Hot, soft rubber tires, with too much lateral force at those speeds, LOOSES TRACTION, with the nearly direct ratio of 1: 1 steering, on those death trap cars. Another preventable death. It was described as a freak accident, but an aeroscreen probably would have saved him. As racing organisations dragged their feet for years regarding more stringent driver safety regulations, drivers continued to needlessly die. Shameful. Condolences to Justin Wilson's loved ones.
Just another racing series where the negotiations before the season starts decide who wins. The GT-R has a silly amount of power compared the R8. Should not even be in the same class. Ruined a good race.
MY 2 brothers and myself were there but did not know that justin was fatally injured untill we drove back to upstate n.y the next day SO SAD i still were his T-shirt i bought that said "BAD ASS WILSON"
Justin must have still been alert after the carbon part impact cause you can see the tires lock up as he got closer to the inside wall. The head on impact must have been the fatal blow.
