The building turned out OK but doesnt look like the artists concept when they designed it. It was supposed to look more swirly and curved like the 2 Marylin Monroe towers in Mississauga. The overall appearance looks like the balconies are offset and unaligned with no pattern that makes sense. There are too many huge bulkheads in the units that look like after thoughts. The units are also so overpriced and are rented to many people that don't care much about the neighbors. I m sure there are a few ladies using units as massage parlours. The owners renting out need cash to pay off the mortgage so when they see cash they take the money quickly even if it's illegal.

You're home inspector is basic and inexperienced. 3rd party warrenties are a marketing catch and a way home inspectors transfer liability. A better option is inspectors who gaurentee their work. PEX, Alumnum wiring is not a defect but of course should be inspected.

Consumer is tapped out...64% of Canadians are living pay cheque to pay cheque...lots of benefits to renting vs. Owning. What happens to this 64% if they need a new roof, HVAC, appliance...they will become further debt slaves or forced to sell...rates ain’t coming down any time soon. NOTHING CAN STOP WHAT’S COMING! Realtors are desperate and with AI and quantum financial system coming they will soon be irrelevant.

Let us assume that interest rates were 5% in 2010 and 2023. Interest rate of 5% for 300K in 2010 and 5% for 600K in 2023 have different implications for a buyer. Worse, if inflation remains high that 5% you are paying for borrowing 600K will not come down. Each year of that mortgage you will be spending 5K for every 100K borrowed JUST as interest.. For a mortgage of 600K, you will pay 5K per 100K borrowed, or 30K just in interest EVERY year. In 2010 the that number was half, as the principle was only 300K. We lived through a period of cheap--low interest--money. Now that period might not come back right away, with inflation.

Population growth can't be the only metric to consider. If it was the case, China and India would be the most expensive real estate in the world. Canada is by far one of the less populated countries in west, but we have the worst real estate bubble IN THE WORLD. Crash is coming no doubt!
