Interesting video, the pins did seam to act more like free fall. Is this house USBC sanctioned? Man the flashing changing video wall was vey annoying to me LOL. How were you able to see the arrows?
Gold Coast and Suncoast are with the same properties as Orleans and Sam's Town. Find it interesting for as big of a center they are, they put you on a lane right next to someone.
Very nice little centre. And, even though we can only see 2 of the machines cycling it's nice to see Brunswick pinsetters that don't have 'sagging' deck shields...usually caused by the front bolt being broken or missing (or the front 'slot' in the shield being excessively worn and the bolt is loose). I always tried to look after the deck shields (along with everything else, of course) in all the Brunswick centres I worked at during my 30 years as a mechanic.
I am actually TSM at one of the centers (GS-X also). I have a house shot I made that has brought in a ton of the regular bowlers as you can't beat the deal. My center layout is identical to Hoffman as well. Main Event used to USBC certify our lanes so they are regulation approaches etc. They do not certify as of 2023 because USBC quadrupled their price per lane and we just don't have any sanctioned leagues or tournaments.
I wonder, are you going to go to places like Riverside Lanes as well? They also have GS-NXTs but they got Twister pins. Talk about the combo we never knew we wanted.
ik this has nothing to do with this video but do you put weights in your mini bowling pins? i have 3d printed ones the same size as yours but they fall over to easily.
@SJMProductions-k1m I've tried it out. My 3-D printed one works well, but needs adjustments still. It's also a bit large and similar to the Daifuku Bowl-mor turret. I need to condense it so the sweep/rake has space.
Again, missed me by a few months. The NXT's pretty much mimic the AMF. I did try to ask the staff if the GSX were getting replaced on the other half of the house. I was told two things, "That's a stupid question" and "That's none of your business." Then was told to leave because I made a "scene."
@@JRBowling1997 The person I asked threw a lot of attitude at me and they didn't like that I told them their attitude wasn't welcomed for asking such a general question.
