how does god feel about the pain of the sacrificed animal? he gave these animals life and he doesn't care that they suffer? he even gave them the sabbath for rest so he cares when they are overworked but he doesn't care that they are slaughtered and suffer to death? sounds unreasonable that a compassionate god would accept such a thing even if it says so in a book. the fact that human beings have some ugly needs is somewhat more acceptable because a human being is never a god or can ever become one.a merciful all powerful god however could surely find another way to elevate a sheep.

I do not agree : the Decalogue together with the 613 rules that derive from it, is, in the mind of those who wrote them, for everybody and even for every creature. It is true on the other hand that a great many of those commands which refer to specific Jewish rituals, especially the animal sacrifices, can apply to certain classes of people. But the Noachide commands were not meant as a complete set of commandments but only as corrective ones mostly directed at teaching non-cruelty just after the deluge. Other virtues were taken for granted which would no longer be at a later date. In particular there is nothing in the Noachide commandments about truthfulness in testimonies, non-lying, honesty, as if non-Jews were not to be keen about truth and let lie up to a certain point and be fed with lies or myths. There is nothing in the Noachide scheme neither about honouring parents which results in non-Jewish parents, traditions and nationhood having no value.

Hello. 21:00 so how to give the charity by teaching people when one makes mistakes in that teaching? Of course, it is not teaching then, but blunders... Anyway, isn´t there some limits who would teach wisdom? Is it even teachable? But only achievable with help? Bad help means less than charity? Thank you. And another think. Imo, many people who give charity, give it not because rightedness, but because they want to see themselves in a good light. Isn´t it idolatory then?

Hashem gave us mitzvot to live by. As long as we are observant of the commandments, we can belong to almost any political ideology. It is as serious when conservatives sin as when liberals and socialists sin. Hashem wants us to connect with Him through mitzvot and prayer, not through a political ideology.
