This episode would have been so much better without Arthur Mullard. He does not ask a single intelligent question and has the most annoying voice and personality.
A little fact. They're not called silencers. They're called suppressors on guns. There is no way to completely silence a gun. Just felt the need to say that. Something I learned a while back.
Thank you so much for uploading these. Discovered this programme three days ago and I can’t stop watching. Really wish they’d bring this back but I know nowadays there’d spend much time with the panel of judges.
Tom Burke is an excellent actor. He is very convincing in the role of a young man who has Asperger's. I wonder what other films he has acted since this episode.
My goodness, the psychiatrist is mispronouncing the word Asperger's! Can't believe nobody on the set caught it..... And why do shrinks wishper in movies?
The ending totally lifted my mood! I was so afraid the other result would happen and then I would begin to doubt her myself. And that would make me feel bad about my self as a woman. But he took responsibility for his anger and I could see then that he had wanted to blame her for it. But it was not to be. The blame was off of her.
Spoiler alert but it seemed quite obvious that the actor brother killed the wealthy brother and then impersonated him. First he didn't know how to use the intercom, he didn't know about the affair he was supposed to be having with his secretary, and he didn't notice the detail about his 'brother' using a gun with the safety catch on (in the commercial). All things his mogul brother would have known about/known how to do.
They practically telegraphed the answer to this one early on. All the clues pointed in one direction so it was obvious who the guilty person was. I wish the writers had made it a bit harder but still love the show! 😊
@@swimasfastasyoucan THANK YOU so much for uploading these episodes. I actually recall a few from the original broadcast (especially the future set one because it's so visually memorable and the 17 March one, because it was one I managed to solve back then!).
One of my favourite "detective" characters in this episode. One of the easier mysteries, which means I actually solved it and got the clues unlike most other episodes!
