Just take off your pack and stow it in your inventory. There is no knowing where the fight can take you, and it’s too easy to misplace all your valuables.
Loved the play through , I missed alot of lore as couldn’t been here the whole time , it be amazing on the Cohh channel if could so a tldr of the npc paths and boss battles , hit big moments in one place then 100 30 mins playlist for those that can’t watch them all
I can't say I agree with Cohh on the voice acting. This version of Silverhand is not the typical rocker boy and more the broken, obsessive man who doesn't actually care about music and only wants to F the system.
i got to say cohhs camera work has gotten to be pretty special the way he slows down to pan round corners :D at times i was asking myself is this cohh or the cutscene
😅 Been a while glad to see you playing this but I have a question why do youtubers/streamers always act surprised by things on a game we have all played 30 plus times? 🤦♂
Well done to the Chinese Room. A lot of people gave them grief over "Everyone's gone to the Rapture" and "Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs", accusing them of not being able to make a "real" game (I never agreed with those assessments). This seems to be a very popular and very well made story. I've worked with quite a few Scottish people in my career - the VAs are either genuine Scotsmen, or they did a lot of work getting the accent right, because the characters sound exactly as they should. As for the lingo, I suspect it's genuine, but the Scotsmen I worked with didn't speak like that. However, they probably didn't around me because they knew I wouldn't understand them if they did. This makes me much more confident in the upcoming Vampire game they're making. Having said that, it's a far different game to this one, so it remains to be seen if they can succeed in a vastly different genre.
Thats also my only criticism of the dlc. They're massive areas of the map with nothing in them, and besides weapon/armour finds, exploration for items is lackluster. Other than that, its beautiful. Felt a bit rushed and idea stagnation, only for thw open world.
Hey Cohh, I’ve noticed you’re having a tough time adjusting to the dex bleed playstyle and finding a weapon that you like. We all play differently and like different things, but to really see why people enjoy the dex/acr playstyle it would behoove you to look into a few of the standout options and try their playstyle out. • Dual wielding curved swords. I saw you were initially turned off by them when chat erroneously stated they are purely for jumping attacks. While jumping attacks are amazing, they hit 4 times proccing bleed very consistently, their base attacks are also very fast and smooth. The Scavenger’s Curved Sword, the Bandit’s Curved Sword, and the Beastman’s Curved Sword would be good standout options. Infusing one with bleed and the other with cold could be a fun option for you since you are already enjoying the frost component. • Twinblade’s are another route you could take an optional dex/bleed build that’s widely enjoyed. Power stanced jumping attacks also do 4 hits, however if you are not going to be looking to take advanced of that interaction I would suggest only 2-handing a single one. The Godskin Peeler, and the Gargoyle’s Twinblade are solid base game options (the dlc has another choice in the Black Steel Twinblade.) You mentioned poise damage being an issue. That is easily solved with a good AoW. Some personal favorites of mine that deal good poise damage are Giant Hunt, Piercing Fang, Lion’s Claw, and Cragblade(a weapon buff that adds attack power and a LOT of poise damage.) I’m not saying these are your only options, and the most important thing is your personal fun factor, but if your intent was to see some awesome synergies with a dex/bleed build, and have a good time whist doing so, then these are the real standouts. Take care Cohh, can get better(healthy) soon.
This game goes in my pile of media that is better to me because it was my first introduction to the series. If I had played the first game first, maybe I'd dislike this one. But without the first game to compare to, it's a great game.
