Happy anniversary and many more happy years, Frances! Picked up Cookie Pop today - it’s popcorn with Oreo bits & a drizzle that tastes like Oreo filling. REALLY good. What about a bagged popcorn review? So many sweet & savoury flavours nowadays!
I was just thinking about you lol. I hope your move went well! And I love that idea! We were going to post a chocolate ice cream tasting video this week but due to technical difficulties the video is gone. Looks like we’ll be doing that next week. But I love the popcorn idea!❤️❤️❤️
@@poppyscucinaOh I haven't moved yet, my place is still on the market. Hoping it'll sell soon. But I hope to move Aug or by Sep at the latest. It's weird living here with pretty much everything boxed up! Like living in a furniture showroom! Choc ice cream would be great! There are so many that aren't really chocolate-y, I'm always looking for a good one!
Do you consider a whisk, spoon or spatula fancy tools? When I saw you scraping your bowl with the fork to get the batter into the pan that’s when I tuned out. Good luck with your channel. Keep on cooking.
Stoufer's, but it has to be the Italiano style. It has more flavors. The regular taste like chef-boy- ardy. The best of all is LaRosa's pizzaria frozen lasagna if you can find it.
Happy 4th to you & your family! I’m making that traditional American dish, carnitas tacos, for dinner (from Herdez refrigerated carnitas), with chia/quinoa tortilla chips & peach salsa, and some corn on the cob my grocery does with lime and chilli (I’ll just warm it up). Kind of lazy since I’m finishing packing - I’m putting my place up for sale in a few days. Since I don’t drink I’m having Jukes 6, Jukes are completely nonalcoholic ‘wines’, 6 is the red & my fave. Comes either as a syrup or in cans, I get the cans where it’s mixed with slightly effervescent soda water. Nice to have ‘wine’ again after all these years. Fun fact - Tamarind is a major ingredient in Coke. Sometimes I go to a coffee house with Italian soda syrups and get the Tamarind, it’s like a lighter version of Coke.
I grew up in Philly but can't do the winters or the humidity, living in the Midwest now & it's bad enough. Besides I lived in CA most of my life so it's the place I love most.
I like the Tapatio (which, BTW, is the best hot sauce ever) and Taco (which is definitely a misnomer, but I like the taste). I tried Sweet & Spicy but wasn't too impressed. I will have to try Salsa Verde and the sticks. (Mustard sounds good, but perhaps too one-note for me.) Pringles Mexican Corn is great. Do not get 'everything bagel' under any circumstances!
@@poppyscucina I like that idea! I think Pringles are underrated. No they are not potato chips but for what they are, they can be very good. There's also a sweet potato one (there are 2, this is the red/orange label) that is good. Just not the awful bagel one that is a crime against humanity's tastebuds.
To be fair you can't trust any one Italians family when it comes to the staples because everyone does things so differently. A sweet sauce to one could be perfectly balanced to another. That goes for all cuisine but Italian culture is highly critical and picky so ... I would just assume any lasagna that isn't nonas is trash to be safe
Love of peaches, but I can’t touch them for some reason something to do with my skin I guess. But I really love the peach flavor and of course I love the peach cocktail as well.❤ I love you too
My sister always recommended the Deep Eddie Lemon 🍋 and now they have these ready to drink cans I’m excited to try 😊 love the shirt 👕 porcupines are underrated 😂 in the varmint world
It’s actually a possum but I totally agree! There needs to be more porcupine representation!! If you’re a fan of the vodka then you will definitely enjoy these
Lately I’ve been liking So Delicious - they are made with coconut milk. But, it doesn’t overwhelm the cookie, it’s more vanilla tasting. Quite tasty! There’s an ice cream sandwich native to SF called It’s It. Still pretty good, I have one every once in a while for nostalgia. Kudos to Fat Boy for just blatantly appealing to chunky folks, like that old Armour hot dog song that specifically named just about every kind of kid including ‘fat kids’. As a kid I felt like they were talking to me! 😉 😜😜😜
I do love coconut cream based ice cream. Trader Joe’s has a chocolate one that tastes like frozen mousse. I love it! But I’ll have to look for the ones you mentioned. Thanks for the tips ❤️❤️❤️
Last week: potato chips This week: ice cream You guys are killing me! So much FUN. I want to join you so bad (I live in FL…NY transplant) Can’t wait for the next tasting 🎉
🎉CONGRATS🎉 I love your channel, from drinks to snacks and recipes! Just real talk…no fluff. I completely agree with your “best chip”. I just wish I was your neighbor so I could be in on the fun 🎉🎉🎉 All the best to you in the future.
My current favourite is Kettle Brand pink Himalayan salt - crispy but not too crunchy, not overly oily, great flavour. Turned my friend onto them and he loves them, too. For regular, my fave is original Lays. Fun treat: chocolate ice cream in a bowl, slightly softened. Scoop with a ridged chip (has to be ridged to be sturdy enough). Salty & chocolatey - fabulous!
