planing boats should be able to wave jump without slamming, just flying from wave top to wave top, at station 2 deadrise over 43, deadrise aft 12 , i have built many in alu, yes i could build your boat in alu there is WAVECRUSHER in NZ, they too build in grp my latest is shaft and prop in tunnel to allow trailer boat launch, I have not built it yet, I prefer inboard diesel
🙏. Will necessitate air tight cabins. what if propellers are placed on each side of the boat one will provide upthrust the other down thrust to help rotate the boat.
"Instead of going 20 knots with water splashing over the boat"?... The Rafnar is wet without any waves, there's no mass or hull under the bow, meaning in a following sea your bow is incredibly low. and it does slam.
Just way too small. It’d awesome for what it is but really limited to professional use. Maybe some day they can build a comfortable multi week out version.
Why can’t they make a long wrong adventure model for private use? With heads, a huge bed, large refrigeration, water, generator full galley. They would sell out of everyone they could build.
