How do I just turn off the power tailgate option and lift and lower manually without hurting anything. Those motors most go out sooner or later. Best save the function.
Hello, All doors automatically unlock when I stop the engine and i withdraw the ignition key. How to make All doors will be automatically locked after the vehicle speed exceeds 15 km/h I tried pressing the "TRIP" button 2sec, only 2 options exist, the menu (1) "Maintenance" alert for changing tires and engine drain huil (2) "Activate / Deactivate" steering wheel alignment

The second row seats DO NOT FOLD DOWN FLAT... so you cannot put a bag of groceries there or animal carrier and you cannot sleep in the back of the Sorrento either. Really dumb.
But at least they retained the dense padding which is important to many people, including myself. Some manufacturers thin the padding so that it folds flat. See the Toyota RAV. The better manufacturers make sure that the bottom can flip forward into the footwell so that the back can lay flat where the bottom cushion was.

My 2019 Sorento EX is NOT equipped with this feature, but this morning was the 2nd time my tailgate had become opened unexpectedly while I was parked in front of my house. I just got the car 2 weeks ago and this is making me very nervous!! I joined the Kia forum and this type of occurrence has happened to others in the past. For now, I am chalking it up to the key fob button being accidentally depressed, but if it happens again, I will be returning to my dealer. Can you please redesign the remote? The buttons are easily exposed to being accidentally pressed!!
I have a 2019 Sorento and the tailgate has also opened unexpectedly. Once when I viewed my car from and office buildings 2nd floor and once in my garage (damaging the paint). Very frustrating!!
